Hey everyone! It's been a while since I posted and I'm still I guess sorta new so I'll reintroduce myself. I'm Jayne!!

I went to my local Nordies yesterday since I've become pretty tight with the MAC counter manager there (actually they all probably think I'm crazy!), and they DID get in these shadows! They didn't have testers made so I couldn't swatch them which was a bummer but at least I got to see the colors through the boxes! The funny thing is like the others who have posted on the forum, she still had NO IDEA when this collection was being launched!! So weird! I mentioned the 1/5 release date and she seemed skeptical, but then again you never know. I was able to presell the colors I wanted ...you might be able to do this too. Not sure if you can presell over the phone and have the items shipped to you for those who don't have a Nordies close by???

As far as the shadows go...they were all very pretty! But I'm not going to get them all cuz I know I'll never use some of them. I ordered Lucky Green (I've been lemming this for months!!), Atlantic Blue, and Free to Be. (If anyone has or has used Free to Be and can tell us if it's a good buy or not that would be great!! )

For those who wanted to know what Winkle looked like, it is kind of a periwinkle blue...but I thought it looked a little like Nile from the McQueen collection which I already have. But I couldn't swatch it so it's hard to tell And the color Sunny Spot was a BRIGHT yellow, almost an electric yellow (as opposed to a golden yellow).

I have a feeling I will regret not getting Goldenrod...

So I did livechat, and they knew absolutely nothing about it, the only collections she knew of were All Ages, All Races and All Sexes, and Lillyland, slated to (obviously) launch online tomorrow. Grr..but I am heading over to Nordies today, so maybe they'll know more. It must be just Nordies if MAC chat had no clue about it. How odd this collection is!

Thanks so much for the info, I am so excited now! I am interested in: Lucky Green, Free to Be, Sunny Spot and possibly Winkle.

P.S. Goldenrod really is a great color

I want these eyeshadows. This collection better be released in Canada. As far as I can remember, the Bay always releases the Nordie's only collections as well. I need to call my local counter at the Bay

Ok so- I just called my local Nordies and they said that YES, this "collection" is releasing, but they said not til the 7th for my location. The girl is gonna call me back after she does a foundation demo on someone, but they are doing pre-orders! I am soooo excited for this, I honestly love bright eyeshadows more than anything, so it's a perfect collection for me!

I feel like this is a half-ass collection. There's been no news about it, there are no promos or displayer, and it's apparently being released in limited quantity. It's like MAC said, "Hmmm...we're releasing all this other stuff, what else can we throw out there?" Most of the shadows are repromotes, and repromotes of crappy textured shadows, at that. Why not do a real follow-up collection to C-Shock full of VPs and frosts, not just one or two.

Meh, I wish they'd try harder...

Well I am going to call my local Nordstroms to pre-order a few of these shadows because I don't want to miss out on them. Thanks everyone for the info. I sure hope that you girls in Canada and international get these shadows too. I think it is strange that MAC doesn't really seem to know what is going on with this collection. How lame!

I am an e/s addict, so I don't really care how they come, with a display or not, as a surprise or planned- it's all exciting to me. But I do totally agree that it is so disorganized and MAC's communication has been crap lately, on a lot of fronts. I don't know the last time that I was able to walk in to a MAC store and get the straight story on something- even today when I called the counter, the girl said she would call me back to do a pre-order and she never called me, so tonight I called and she'd gone home, and the other girl said she was new, so she didn't know how to do a pre-order! It just seems like it is like this all the time recently. And the collections that are coming out I feel like they don't have much heart to them, they just feel like they're thrown together, many with unoriginal themes and colors. Oh wells, maybe my MAC days are winding down?

I talked to the local MAC freestanding store and they told me that these shadows will release on January 15th. So I did a pre-order with them as I have a few MAC gift cards from Christmas. My local Nordstroms said that they knew nothing about this collection.

I feel better knowing that I pre-ordered the ones that I wanted. I know I shouldn't freak about eye shadows but I would hatef to miss out on some of these.

I am hoping the same thing as I hate ordering without even knowing what the colors really are.

I ended up pre-ordering goldenrod, winkle, sunny spot, and free to be.

Wow that is good news if they will be part of the regular line! Maybe then the Nordstrom ones will be LE and the freestanding stores they will be perm?

Fingers Crossed for PERM, I wish they were released this week though. I'm on vacation and have a makeover booked for the 7th. That would have been fun.

Oh well I will just have to get some all ages, races , sexes stuff since I already bought stuff from love lace, warm and cozy and updated my foundation last week.

And now I focus on dreams of... Six in Sask...

Aww I didn't get to see the photo before the link expired, oh well! But I am gonna be if Nordies is sold out of my colors by the time I get a hold of them tomorrow, seeing as though I was supposed to pre-order today but they are apparently a bit scatter-brained.

Well, if these are being released at all MACs then maybe I have other chances to get them- and yes, perm sounds nice! They could use lovely colors like these in the perm line

IMHO, I think MAC could do with a entire revamp of the Perm line. So yes, I think a bit of brightness would do the perm line good.

I really hope these will be perm since this collection seems to be so unorganized and I'm doubting that Australia will even get them. I really want Lucky Green and maybe the others if I like the swatches.

Or even better.. can they be perm? Well the ones that aren't perm yet.

With all the great e/s (MAC I am talking about the gorgeous matte2 e/s you dared to d/c!!) that were discontinued MAC needs to put some new eye shadows in the "empty" spots that are filled with other perm colors. Three of the same e/s next to each other in the display look kinda pathetic.

But on the other hand I would prefer the Starflash e/s to become perm. They are staples in their colors and quality and would be a fantastic addition to the perm line. But the best products are LE only anyhow and will never make it to the perm line. Sad but true.

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww I want the purple eggplant and the coral one right next to it!!!! They're both soooooooo pretty!!!!
