i think it's cuz shadesticks never really dry. and i believe paint pots do?(not sure as i've never used a pp before) just an idea!

i imagine a ccb would work too then?

I picked my 2nd batch of TTB goodies today!!!

I ended with:

S&P e/s,
FOB eye khol,
Beach Bronze creme bronzer and
Weekend creme bronzer.

I can't stop staring at S&P!!

Anyway, I was surprised to find out there were still a couple ML left at my counter!!

that's exactly why riotlove! shadesticks stay creamy, so they grab the pigments (esp. the matte ones) and keep hold of them all day. the paint pots dry down and can not grab them tight enough. if you do use a paint pot, ya gotta work super fast getting the pigments on there before it dries down. and the reason paint pots don't work well with pigments like they do with regular shadows is because of the finish/texture of pigments vs that of shadows.

a ccb can work, but ya gotta be careful cuz they can crease on the eye.

^ Yay, Winnie, you got Marine Life. Karin is so sweet. I never heard of CP before coming to this forum. Specktra is such a special place.

This might change, but I have a feeling that I won't buy much in July. So that makes the purchases from this collection even sweeter.

I finally got to see this collection, since my order would not go through. I love it, I love it, I lovvvvve it!!!

They were sold out of Splashing So in it's place I swatched Flurry of Fun and oh.....my......gawd!!!! I know everyone said how amazing it was and I studied swatches and everything but then opted to pass since sometimes it looked orangey. But it was soooooooo incredibly amazing!!!! I agree, everyone has to swatch this before passing Later I put mine on and it was the most beautiful looking thing I ever remember seeing on my lips

I also asked for Lazy Day (haven't tried yet!) and Life's A Breeze but the pencil was sold out when she checked for it So she took it off the display but I did get to swatch it.

At the last minute I turned around and swatched Beachbound and now guess what? I want it! This made me think of how everyone is going back to this collection multiple times I had decided to pass on it at first but it's not as sheer as I thought! I can imagine FoF over this baby!

So I only got 2 items as a [very] late Christmas gift haha. I wanted 5 total, but now I want 7 total (thanks bb & FoF). So only 5 more to go!
