How to/can someone sanitize an eyelash curler?

Hello there . I was wondering when using eyelash curlers on clients, how you would go about sanitizing it after use to kill bacteria? I know that eyelash curlers have refills for the padded area that curls the lashes, but wouldn't it be costly to replace each one after using it on each client?

I know how to sanitize all other cosmetics products using disposable applicators, spatulas, and alcohol, but I can't seem to figure out how to clean the curlers, or if it's even possible!

Spray it with 70% alcohol after each use. Or 99% if it's available to you. Wipe it down really well too.

i use the andes cool care plus for clippers and trimmers. you can get it at sallys beauty suppy(or their website) it disinfests and sanitizes. then spray it with 70% isoprophol alcohol. i learned that from an instructor in beauty school. hope that helps.

I use standard cosmetic barbicide to sanitize mine.

I pull out the rubber bad, wipe it and the curler down with an 80%+ alcohol wipe and let it airdry. When I go home and do a deep clean, I soak it in an alcohol solution and then let it dry.
