IDK which MES I should B2M for. They're all so smoothy I was in love when I stopped by the store today. However, the colors don't really stand out to me, at least the 3 that I swatched.

I bought Go For It lipstick, did not realize it has a teeny sparkle in it, or it just me? The MA there told me the "fun" lipstick colors always sell out first, so I wasn't taking any chances. If you ladies like funky colors, get Go For It.
Bright lipsticks are my staple for the summer.

Personally, I am LOVING Happy Together (and so is PinkBasset) - it's warm, but not too orange-y warm, and not too bronzey. Just a nice, warm glow on the cheek. I'm NW20 (or NC20, depending on the MA), a bit darker right now b/c of summer, and I'm loving the way it looks - hth!

Just back from my store. Absolutely no hype going on here with Stereo Rose. I was telling the mua about all the sell outs and she wasn't aware at all about it. They had 6 in stock, none had yet sold, none were on hold and the sample hadn't even been swatched LOL.

It is beautiful, but sadly, too orange for my skin so I passed.

I bought Togetherness, Creme d'nude and Fashion Whim.

Happy Together blush was gorgeous, I may go back for that one. Hang Loose is icy pink on me. I loved it on my hand but not sure I can pull that off on my face. Thinking about it.

My other favorite was Soften the Mood mes. Had this in my hand for a while, but put it back (for now since I thought I could come close to duping it with what I had at home.

Hope everyone got what they wished for!! I'm very happy with my little haul. I had enough money left over to buy a new off-the-shoulder top for going out with the girls tomorrow night LOL

I got Stereo Rose and Jazzed! My Macy's counter got in three Stereo Roses, and one of the three was the tester. They got in twenty-three By Candelights, and about nine each of the other two.

My store wasn't allowed to hold either because they thought it was unfair to others. So I understood that...but some girls are insane when they start yelling at the MUA...kinda rude IMO.

I've looked everywhere.. gotta do my research before I spend more money! I did see temptalia's and KS.. I have trouble finding the swatch threads around here... thanks!

Yea I was there when they released it early and didn't bother picking one up then but when I called later on..I think a day or two later..can't remember exactly..? They were sold out and I was kicking myself in the ass then because I tried it on and when I was working, so many girls were asking what I was wearing. Bahhhhh too much hype

Congrats! But isn't such a waste that they use one as a tester, when they only have 2 left to sell? There's no point in even having a tester in that case - seems like a waste IMO.

There was no Hype at my store either..just me and a girl that looked about 12 years old was there for Stereo Rose along with her parents whom bought her all of the msf's....Lucky Kid

i seriously can't believe somebody was crying! surely that takes all the fun out of the make up when you get that wrapped up in it. sure i have been dissapointed before when something i wanted sold out - but never to the state of tears!

That is NUTS! Crying?? Wow! Was this at the f/s store or at The Bay?

I went to MAC on Robson yesterday to pick up a few other things - I had called ahead about SR too but was told they were sold out. I called Metrotown f/s store as well but they wouldn't do holds. I was fortunate that I was able to order online... now just waiting for it to arrive!

My maccosmetics.com order came a few minutes ago. My confirmation email came at 8:24am. I was going to run out this morning to get Band of Roses and New Vibe MB. But I decided to wait. I'm still not sure I need these. I'm going to a CCO this weekend and expect to do major damage. Also, I want a lot from other collections.

Soooooo, I have just looked at all the swatches of Stereo Rose in the swatch thread, and.............meh. Am I the only one underwhelmed? I don't feel like I am missing out at all, but then I am not super keen on MSFs in general. Most of them are too metallic for my taste.

But damn, there is some serious Stereo Rose fever going on! Good luck to everyone on getting one if it is on your list. And congrats to those who have already scored one (or more).

f/s!!

But honestly now I know the hype about Stereo Rose. I go from NC25 up to NC35/40 in the summer. I'm dead smack in the middle at the moment as NC30 and it gives off such a glow in the cheeks. It's like...a inner glow. Damn you MAC , you should've played nice and released more out and let everyone get one and enjoy this!!

I think Happy Together is very pigmented, not sheer at all! Anyway, both of those blushes are beautiful and will most definately work with your skintone. I might go back for Band Of Roses, I don't have a dupe for it in my collection. I'd keep both!

On 7/6 I placed my order for SR at about 8:40 EST on the MAC website. After hearing that everyone was getting backorder notices (I never got one). I started to panic. So, on 7/7 I called my local F/S see if they had it because I wanted to pick it up the next day. Well, the MUA said she would pre-sell it to me and I could come and pick up that day. I ran down to the store and got SR and a few other items. Now, on 7/8 I just got my shipping confirmation with SR on it. So, I guess now I will have two.

But, after all the hype I'm a little disappointed. I'm an NC50 and find that it barely shows up on my skin. I thought it would be darker. I plan on playing with it some more. If I can't get it to work I might sell or swap my second one. I have Band of Roses coming in my online order and I'm really excited about that. I swapped it in the store and I think it looks beautiful on darker skin tones.

There was no kind of hype whatsoever in Atlanta. I was the first person in the store and I tried on the entire collection. I was in there for an hour and half one woman came in for SR and all the other people who came in never even glanced at ITG. The phone was ringing off the hook for Alice and Olivia. I tried SR and didn't like it. Band of roses is the best thing in the collection in my opinion.

Please fogive me if this has been answered already but why is MAC sending out such little product to the stores? Ex: SR and Marine Life. They could make a fortune. Maybe they think since they already are making a fortune that this just makes those products so much more special and coveted. It's like a cult. Oh well, maybe I just answered my own question!

It is, isn't it? I love me some purple and grey!

Maybe I'll follow PinkBasset's suggestions and really keep both. Happy Together seemed to be like By Candlelight on me. I'll get them tomorrow or on Saturday, because I first ordered them and then went to the store to swatch. I'll hopefully have made up my mind untill then!
Band of Roses has such a pretty colour and Happy together seems so versatile... Decisions, decisions!
