NARS and Shiseido WAREHOUSE SALE IN MARKHAM, ON - Page 2

Just wanted to give you guys an update cause I went to the sale today. In my opinion it was a good sale, I got a few things I am stoked about so if anyone was humming and hawing over it, go tomorrow!! I got there around 1:30 pm and only waited about 20 mins in line so it was perfect..I would say i waited about 40-45 mins for the cash line so that was the worst part. here is what I got:

So Famous set - $25

Nars sheer matte foundation - $15

Nars eyeshadow duo Egea- $10

Shiseido brilliant bronze self tanning gel  - $15

Shiseido the makeup lip gloss - $10

I did have to fight the crowds a bit to see the Nars makeup...there wasn't TOO much of a selection which probably made it easier to choose. It was a little annoying trying to push past people but I did alright. The shiseido skin care area was nuts..I didnt even want to fight those people to get to the products..plus I decided I dont wanna try any new skin care stuff since my skin seems to be ok right now and don't wanna mess up my routine anyways! So that was my experience! Just thought I would post this incase anyone was thinking about going this year, I would recommend it :) Oh and its my first time trying Nars or shiseido so I'm glad I was able to try it out at this good of a price!

Id say this sale wasnt as great as the last sale..... in november... and apparently the one in november wasnt so great either. The one in november i was able to get different Nars blushes, and duos.... this one... there was basically one blush and a few duos that isn't really wearable. But id have to say the line up to go in wasnt so bad. However the line up for the cash was nasty..... so I guess they just let more people in and thats what makes the cash line so long... so nvm it all evens out. but it was soo hectic in there... dono if I can stand another one but even with a little price raise I still cant complain :D

I went to the sale late on Saturday.

As far as blushes: there was orgasm in a set, also super orgasm in a set, and I saw mounia, enchanted  and taj mahal... and at least 8 different multiples.

I picked up the Cannes multiple and Cap Vert bronzer/multiple, the Portofino/Malibu multiple duo  (there were others including south beach, maui duo, beverly hills and the bright collection with the coloured "NARS" writing - limited edition multiple tints)

Eyeliners for fun I bought: istanbul, parrot cay, sandstorm

A shadow pencil in Palladium

A velvet matte lip pencil in Toundra

Nail polish for $5 - I bought 5 of these .... I had Versaille already, so I got Mash, Full Metal Jacket, Saratoga, King Kong and Zulu

Sophia matte shadow and Kalahari duo

It's difficult to see things, so it's a good idea to really know the lines before you arrive.

My fav purchase so far is the SAMPAR skincare

They had a charity raffle for a huge gift basket and the proceeds went to Japan to help with the disaster from the earthquake and tsunami.  There weren't any "charity bags" though.

Just a friendly reminder that all sales & swaps must be conducted via the Clearance Bin.  Further posts suggesting selling or seeking tickets will be deleted.

Hi Dawn, We are not selling or swapping in this thread just sharing info. about the past warehouse sale, but thank you for letting us know.  Also the NARS/Shiseido warehouse sale is open to the public; there aren't any tickets per se.

Actually Dawn is correct there are tickets.  The Friday of the sale is always by invite only.  Only the Saturday & Sunday are open to the public.

Anybody going?? I'm skipping it....the crowds were crazy last time and i could barely look at anything. I lined up at 7:30am and was in by 10am. Luckily they put up a tent to wait under because we once waited in the rain outside. I'd like to hear updates though if anyone goes!

Im going sunday :)

I went today. It was really tame. I went at about 11:30, got in by noon. In an hour, I was done. I went specifically for Nars, but people went crazy for the Shiseido skincare and makeup. :) I feel like this one was held very low key, the products they had were solidly good. I got a laguna multiple for $15. They had an orgasm illuminator as well. Some of the popular stuff mixed in with the other stuff :)

Mellyers, thats awesome to hear! I am going tomorrow, i hope tomorrow is pretty tame as well. I think i will go in the afternoon as I heard that is a good time to go. I'm excited!

i went today and got there around 1pm. It was great. I was able to park in the actual warehouse lot instead of like down the street and there was no lineup, i just walked right in!!!

I got:

Some "Evolve" hair care: 1 finishing hair spray, 2 shampoos and a conditioner for $3 each.

Shiseido:

White lucent brightening protective moisturizer $30 ( i couldnt find this on sephora or even the shiseido site, there was only the brightening moistuizer, or the protective cream, but not brightening protective moisturier, is it disc??)

Purifying cleansing foam- $6 for a 50ml size

Dual balancing foundation and perfect refining foundation for $15 each!!

I have never tried any shiseido products so this was a good opportunity to start seeing as how it was so cheap, I have heard great reviews about these foundations and was so excited to find both of them in a suitable shade!!

Didnt get any NARS this time, nothing on my wishlist was there...almost got the primer but didnt feel like paying $20 seeing as it wasnt that big. I wanted to focus more on skin care since I also plan on going to the Lisa's Cosmetics sale where I will focus more on makeup there

Thanks for sharing =) I think I want to take a trip over there one day for this sale. Might need to bring a friend so I don't go too crazy. You girls are lucky. Hope you enjoy the goodies =)

These are public sales, only the VIP day requires tickets. At least that's how it was last year.

Everyday after is just lineup.

Anyone know when the next Shiseido/NARS sale is in Markham??  I've tried to find information everywhere but no such luck!!

Its usually in April or May

hey the sale is happening on may 4th through 6th, though the 4th is only for those with tickets, open to the public on the 5th and 6th

The Markham sale is this weekend, May 4-6.  Friday is a VIP day of course, but Saturday and Sunday are open to the public.

HI Has anyone gone to this sale and if so  would you recommend it . I have never purchased their products. Thinking of trying their cleansers , what would you recommend

thank you

hi, did anyone go to the sale?

I went Sunday afternoon.  Is there anything in particular you want to know?

Briefly - good selection of Shiseido skincare (sunscreens too), cheap Joico haircare, lots of shiseido facial cotton ($6 IIRC), lots of NARS shadows ($8 singes, $10 duos, 420 trios), but few blushes. Lots of lipsticks, but all dark colours as always.  NARS orgasm illuminator $20, NARS gift set (eye primer, mascara, liner, remover) $20. Another NARS set w/ hungry heart duo.

Aww. There were NARS Orgasm Illuminators? I went on Saturday and didn't see them :S

And they dropped the prices on the NARS Gift Set too? When I went it was $25 and I was on the fence about it. Meh. :(

how do u find out about these sales ?

Do we have the November date yet?  I'll be out of the country on the weekend of Nov 10, so it better not be that weekend!  I missed last year's fall sale too, because of my wedding.  This year it's my brother's wedding.
