Sounds like SO much fun! The show, not the sick. I'm sorry about that.

I am actually pulling out all of the stops for this collection. I can't really afford it either.

And, though I haven't been into MAC long, RIS doesn't seem dupeable to me. The dupe that is listed in Pink Poodle, but they look nothing alike in swatches, IMO.

If the US and Canada are getting this collection on the 30th of this month, is it safe to assume that the UK and possibly the rest of Europe will finally get to join in on the fun on the 5th or 7th of October?

Unfortunately I don't believe that my country will get this collection before November at the earliest. we have yet to get the felines collection (I bought my haul on my vacation in Austria ), suppose to be here in October, I'll believe it when I see it.

Since I don't want a lot from this collection maybe I will ask someone to do a CP for me (If someone is willing to do it for me please pm me).

Oh dear, what country do you live in? Knowing Disney i'm sure that they'll want this collection to be available EVERYWHERE! I really hope that they do release it by you.

I live in Israel, I'm pretty sure it will be released here (although we didn't get dare to wear) but because our health ministry delays every new makeup collection for weeks and even months sometimes, I don't believe we will get it before November - December and even then probably not the full collection.
I'm betting on us not getting the cool liquid powders since we didn't even receive stereo rose, petticoat and marine life in the last collections.

Oh I see, grrr I don't know why MAC find it so difficult to send out plain simple information about release dates, etc internationally. I really hope that Israel receives the entire collection. How many stores are in Israel? I am guessing that your MAs are not clued up about the collection either?

I just don't understand the logic behind MACs logistics.

I hope everything works out for you and that someone here will be kind enough to do a CP if need be.

What pulled me to this collecion was BoA blush, cause I don't have anything coral & its more pigmented; but its been done. My Dark Magic pulled me in because I slept on Young Punk. Wicked Ways cause I don't have Russian Red and Revenge is Sweet because I missed out on its cousin Sweet Strawberry from HK. De-vil cause I don't have any of the perm shadows that are similar to it. Push the Edge, repromoted, i slept on that too. This collection is a chance for me to get things I missed out on. I like that. Its nothing mind blowing or really unique for me, but a chance for me to get my stash right. So I am happy about that.


I think the HK collection was more unique than this one. But bottom line, its going to sale! Preview in 5 days!!!

Have you ever google imaged the villians? Its pretty cool to check out artists' interpretation of the characters. All types of inspiration there. check out this artist's rendition of Maleficent Maleficent by =kinkei on deviantART i love it!

The funny thing about searching Maleficent is that Angelina Jolie's picture keeps coming up. I thought it was interesting because of what some people say about her. I personally love her and was interested in the correlation. Apparently, there is buzz over a Tim Burton Sleeping Beauty remake and it is rumored she may play the bad fairy, Maleficent. The story will be in her point of view. I think that is so damn cool! I can just see her now.

That would be awesome if TB did a remake of Sleeping Beauty with Jolie playing Maleficent; I think that she'd look amazing with green skin lol! Love Angelina!

I think there are about 10 stores, It's not MAC's fault, it is the health ministry's fault - they are the ones that stop and delay new cosmetic products, in the last it has gotten much worse.

Actually the more I think about it - a CP is the best way for me - I can be sure to get everything I want, earlier and much cheaper even with the addition of shipping and insurance than buying in store in Israel.

I don't generally like remakes (remake = not creative/copy cat/make a quick buck). However, Tim Burton's style is very unique so I'm always interested in his point of view

My personal template that I'm following is this:

One Magically Cool Liquid Powder
One Nail Lacquer of your choice
One Beauty Powder of your choice
One Lipstick of you choice
One Lipglass of your choice

So I'm probably getting Cajun Magically Cool Liquid Powder, Mean and Green Nail Lacquer, Oh So Fair Beauty Powder, Dark Deed lipstick, Hot House lipglass.

I feel the eye products in this collection are the weak spot, so i would skip those personally.

That is not a problem, if 1 store get the collection all stores will get it! the problem is that it will be months from now and most probably not all of the products will get to Israel.
