Hypothetical time.

If I were to get a magical powder and fall in love with it and use it daily...about how long do we think 1 jar would last? I'd hate to get it and love it and run out before it returns (if it does).

I thought that was pretty weird when I went to look at VV. They said I couldn't take the seal off because it was mostly made of water. What is it going to evaporate
geesh, do I need to store it in the fridge

That's it! Screw this powder. I'm done with experiments.

I am skipping Revenge is Sweet because I have (and love) Sweet Strawberry from HK. SS seems more pigmented to me.

So, I'm still juggling Strange Potion, Toxic Tale and Vile Violet.

I'm just thinking about swatching things and trying to take pictures. How will that play out? I swear I'm gonna start swinging if someone is hanging over me or gets in my shot.

I think I am going to pass on the powder at first. I rather focus on spending the money on other things. If its there later, then it was meant to be. On the other hand, if its so great, it may return as perm with and shoot, that's even better.

The funny thing about searching Maleficent is that Angelina Jolie's picture keeps coming up. I thought it was interesting because of what some people say about her. I think they should make it perm. When I think of all these LE items and then the perm line, it seems so bare. Time to make some stuff permanent.

I love Tim Burton films but if Angelina Jolie will be Maleficent it would be a dissapointment. I have nothing against her, but just don't think she's the correct candidate for the role.

Just my opinion on the Tim Burton movie: First of all, I could do without Burton. His films have been lacking lately. However, if he is telling this story, nothing can be done about that. As for Maleficient, I love Angelina. She's a better actress than she gets credit for. However, I think that's too easy a choice. I would love to see Cate Blanchett. Classic features, wonderful voice, height, grace and she can act anyone under a table.

I want to try the powder thing at my makeup appointment but I probably won't buy it- I just don't need another highlighter I won't use. My list is as bare as it will get before real-life swatches
2 lipsticks- Heartless & Dark Deed
2 Lipglasses- Wicked Ways & Wrong Spell
1 Blush- Darkly My Dear (I finally decided against Bite of an Apple b/c I really wanted something red-er)
1 MES- She Who Dares
and maybe 1 e/s- Vainglorious

I got a mini preview today. The nice trannyish MA (who I'm pretty sure is a woman now...) offered to show me whatever stuff she could grab from the back because they just got some items in today.

She brought out Bite of an Apple, Briar Rose, Darkly My Dear, Oh So Fair, and Cajun. The only downside was that I couldn't actually test any of them. Drat! The packaging is quite nice...

I decided to preorder BoA (cause hell, why not? I don't have anything like it), Formidable polish, and My Dark Magic. I also decided to preorder Truth and Light after seeing the beautiful sheen in Cajun. I'm really getting into highlighters these days so...we'll see!

The beauty powders are huge, but I couldn't order one without trying it on. Same with the lippies.

I don't want to start a rumor if it's not true, but I swear I read somewhere that the cooling powders would be perm later down the line. I don't recall where I read it, though and who's to say it was true.

It would make sense, since they bought the license (or whatever, I'm rushing ) for it I wouldn't be surprised if it was made perm or at least re-promoted more than once.

no, MAC did not buy the license.. Estee Lauder owned it via PX line which went pfft... so it is part of their proprietary rights.. who knows if they make this perm

Layla, I almost chose that pic of Mal as my avatar. It would be hilarious if we all changed our pics to a villain from this collection. I'm glad Mal is getting so much love. I wonder if it says anything about me that I was always on her side as a child?

I was always on her side, too. She's my fave villain from the collection, so yeah- I'm glad there are a good number of us using her.

I love the one you picked But, I went with this one because she looks crazy, and everyone needs a little crazy.
