I know how you feel. I know I want Gimme That! for sure but I think I want a second and I don't know which one! I'm leaning towards Dare to Dare after Karla's awesome swatches. I love her swatches (But I appreciate allll swatches equally, I need my swatches!)

Aquavert, Lustreleaf, Teal Blue
Sky Blue, Suave Intentions, Strike A Pose

As you can see, Aqua is very very light in colour. In my collection (I didn't put here any other than Mac comparisons though) it is unique.
thank you, you are the best, i will be getting aqua, but i'm still not sure about sky blue!! thank you so much

Re: MAC - Dare To Wear Discussion

I'm in love with the video look they did for this collection! All the colors the artist used look great on the model! The look is so bold, bright, and what I usually go for when I take the time to do my makeup...eye catching!!

I have two pierced ears -- does that count?

Re: MAC - Dare To Wear Discussion

I just ordered Dare to Dare and Bold & Brash glosses. I'm still interested in Crazy Cool & Shockaholic, but I'm going to wait on those

oh I so agree -- the model is gorgeous and the colors suit her so well. an added plus is that she is about 18 -- these colors are good accent colors for anyone who is a bit older and wants a pop of color, but they are very bright and have to be applied with caution.

the lgs.. are another story lubbs them!

very... very different. stars n rockets is like a duochrome pink-purple. it can look very warm and the color can change depending on what bases you use.

i havent seen crazy cool in real life but its suppose to be similar to beautiful iris - lavender shade - light and very cool toned

I have industrial, one other cartilage piercing on my upper ear plus seven "normal" ear piercings. Both nipples, hand web, septum (4g), tongue (stretched to 10g), two arm surfaces, and the snakebites. I have had bridge/niebuhr, vertical medusa on my upper lip, wrist surface, three more handwebs and horizontal eyebrow. So yeah, I do feel I'm lacking something without those!

Grrr....
That ashley must've been so cool! I feel you, it must suck alot when piercings reject. I took my bridge off because I felt it might be growing out, even though it was many years old, but I didn't want to risk it and end up with a huge scar (however I do like my four little scars between my eyes from my two bridges - my bf says it looks like a butterfly). I really liked the medusa I had, but I just didn't have enough of "room" there with the septum, so after a while getting the two jewellery stuck on each other all the time I decided to give up on medusa.

I really like the whole piercing culture!

Well, I'm not 18 but color knows no age so I'm all about it!! I have to admit, I have never been one to wear so much of one color all over my eye unless I was doing just one neutral color and nothing else.

I also have to admit, it took me a moment to get pass the hair...lots of it!

And me too! LOVE the piercing culture...

I've wanted an industrial for a loooong time now. I just haven't had the money or motivation to go get it. Maybe now that I'm working regularly..

I have my tongue pierced (although I haven't worn anything there in a long time) and my ears are pierced four times. Other than the industrial, I don't think there's another piercing I'd want. Although that being said, I think a lot of piercings can look really cool--just not on me Same with tattoos. I can appreciate them but I don't want one.

I did my first and only stable piercing when I was fourteen (my lip). I wish I had been thinking like you- the hide from mom thing. I made up some lame excuse about slicing my lip open on my bed frame when I was looking for something and slapped a band-aid over it until it healed

All of my piercings have been self-done up until now, and I'm thinking maybe that's why so many have rejected. I think the only reason my lip stayed is because I did it fast (teen angst and such). I just haven't found a piercer I really like yet....

I have had a nose ring 3x and it always get rejected--totally sucks. I would love to get a custom made platinum one, I bet that wouldn't get rejected by my sensitive skin, but who knows how expensive that would be! It would have to be a cork screw type nose piercing because I can't do any other type--too klutzy

I am leaning towards getting it. Perhaps I should be talked down, because my lipglass collecting is a bit out of hand and I can never use them before they go bad...at least they are B2M'able

hahahaha!

i've had all of mine done by a pro, i'm terrified of it going wrong! which unfortunately happened when i found someone who'd pierce a 15 year old's nipple... didn't seem such a bad idea at the time

it's a week before this comes out here and i'm getting so impatient waiting! i want to play with some new brights now!

You've got balls! I couldn't even pierce my own ears let alone my lip--I had my lip pierced for a short time and it hurt like a mother. I could hear my skin tear. Ugh. I wish I would have kept it though. I got rid of it because my boyfriend at the time didn't like it and it was hard to eat. LAME.

Re: MAC - Dare To Wear Discussion

I can handle getting a tattoo better than piercings. Hence why I only have 3 piercings but over 50+ hours of tattoo work on me & getting another 10+ in a few weeks!

Not really. The second time I did my lip, I was feeling like a wuss, so I screwed the needle in really slowly.... Bad idea. Needless to say, it was pierced completely crooked and I have a lovely scar and indent on my face. I also have really bad lumps from the three I've already taken out.... I have to figure out how to get rid of scar tissue, I guess. I think I'm just not meant to have more than my lip. I do want to get my septum done again by a pro, but everyone I've asked says it looked horrible on me, so we'll see. I, personally, loved it and that's all that mattered.... Maybe I will get it done when I finish college.... As a graduation present to myself... Still have a few years, though.

I'm jealous! I won't even be able to afford good tattoos until I graduate.... I don't want to get half-ass ones right now for a fraction of the cost.

^^ Shit I couldn't afford full price on work I have done. I am friends with a very good well-known artist here in town. It does pay to know people!
