Thank you, Lou!
I really love the beauty powders I own. I feel I don't need to buy every single b/p MAC releases from now. Let's see if the two new beauty powders from this collection are unique enough. I'm with you!

Shontay - I have Cassis too and I don't think they are similar. Cassis is cooler based. I love the warmth in Dark Diversion. Like I said in my above post, the red based purples do amazing job on hazel/golden brown eyes :) I can never have enough of that type of shade!
Peachsuns - agreed! I'm now excited! It's been a whhile since I bought any MAC. And thank you for your sweet compliment :)
Having brown eyes, I know exactly what you mean.

I know! Where is she? The place is not same without her. Come back soon, Erin! We miss you.

SY launched today here, so I went to my counter to have a look.
I'm not really into bold colors lately so I'm almost totally safe on this one.
The beauty powders were lovely though…I might take home play it proper one of these days…
I tried the red cream color base (can't remember the name now), it's a nice red but it felt very dry, I always need super-moisturizing products on my lips. Since I don't see myself using such a bold color as a blush, I think I'd prefer a lipstick, easier to touch-up on the go.
In the end: I can save money for Cham-Pale and Peacocky…yay!

I was thinking about buying them too, but the palette alone is already $16. I think that will be around 16 euro's here, so yeah that's a lot for just a palette i think.

Ok, so I'm back from the pro store and I wanna say I am so excited about what I got. From this collection I got Virgin Isle, Madly Magenta and Too Chic BP. The CCB's are gorgeous. I always had my eye on VI but never bought it, so I had to have it now. Madly Magenta is my favorite. For the first time, I tried a CCB on my lips and it's awesome. I wouldn't mind popping a clear gloss over it, though for more comfort. That has more to do with the rough condition of my lips at the moment (gotta love NJ winters) because the CCB's are actually creamy on the lips.
Too Chic, I am happy to report, is WOC friendly. I am NC45/50 (mufe hd 173) and it did not turn ashy on me. I popped it over the CCB and it gave a subtle glow. Some may see this as unnecessary, but it's a step I like to take, I love BP's and I wanted the chic compact.
My thoughts on Cham Pale will be in that thread. If my pics didn't turn out too horribly, I will post them. I wasn't wearing foundation, so heaven help me.

I wanna add that the CCB's do stain a bit, but nothing major. Also, the only pigment I was interested in was Follow Your Fancy. It was pretty, but not the true coral I was hoping for. It's more of a rusty red, so I passed. Dark Diversion did nothing for me. I just can't get excited for fluidlines. Movie Star Red is pretty and intense, but I don't need any more red for the cheeks or the lips. Tickle Me Pink is a no for my complexion. It's just all kinds of wrong to me.

Too Chic, I am happy to report, is WOC friendly. I am NC45/50 (mufe hd 175) and it did not turn ashy on me. I popped it over the CCB and it gave subtle glow. Some may see this as unecessary, but it's a step I like to take, I love BP's and I wanted the chic compact.

I'm so happy (and jealous hehe) you got to see both SY and CP, Shontay!
Creamy on the lips, yay!
Is the finish comparable to cremesheens?
I know I need a gloss over cremesheen this time of year.
Any thoughts on the actual lipsticks if you had a chance to take a look?
Can't wait for your pics, I bet you look gorgeous wearing the bold CCB shades!

Thanks, Keijukainen. Yeah, I would say it's comparable to cremesheens. I just keep thinking "this is just like lipstick". I was surprised because I'm skeptical about lip/cheek products. I popped it on with my pinky (my clean pinky! LOL)
The only lipstick I played with was Style Curve because it was the only one I was interested in. It reminded me of Violetta/Show Orchid but without the sheen. It's pretty and maybe you can get it if you don't have V or SO. I was underwhelmed. I wanted something really purple but less blue than Go For It.

I really wasn't feeling those CCBs at first but suddenly they've become the items I love the most from this collection! The shades are just too gorgeous and I wish the actual lipsticks and pigments were as inspiring. Hmm I was thinking it might be nice to separate a little bit of cream base to a different jar for lip color and use the original pan for cheeks. I dunno why but somehow it feels a little icky to use the same pan for both in the long run and I could take the little jar with me for touch-ups
Style Curve was the item I was most excited about based on promo pics but to be honest it does seem a little underwhelming. I have Violetta and a dupe for Show Orchid from a mineral company so I might skip SC unless it looks amazing with a liner. Yup, I was definitely expecting a true opaque purple too. It's odd the other two are amplified and they decided this one should be the sheer one!?

Sooo, yeah I took pictures of products from SY and CP together, so I'm just gonna post it here. LOL
Top Left : Too Chic Beauty Powder, Dangerous Cuvee Paint Pot
Madly Magenta CCB under Too Chic
Last Row : Virgin Isle CCB, I Get No Kick Liner
Madly Magenta on lips and cheeks (no foundation, so be kind) and Too Chic over it lightly, No Kick on lower lashline
I'm actually still wearing this because I love it so much. That's why I don't have a pic of me wearing VI. LOL

VI looks nice swatched on your hand. Very pretty. I am going to be excited to use this on my cheeks. Glad for the PRO to counter promotion of this one. thanks!

Temptalia said the beauty powders would be too pale for most people, and that makes me want them even more. For once there's highlighters even for the ultrafair yay! :) Now Mac release a NC10 and NC13 foundations and I'm good.
I'm liking the fact that Style Curve is on the sheer side. And I'm so happy it's Cremesheen!
I think with Magenta liner it could be amped up easily though.

Thanks, ladies.
I am loving these CCB's so much that I may buy Movie Star Red afterall. I just love that's there's no work involved. I just use the 130 on my cheeks and swipe some on my lips and go. No wondering what lipstick/gloss to pair with my cheeks. So easy.
I might buy Let Me Pop and perhaps Vintage Selection. I only swatched Let Me Pop so I am more sure about that one. I will play with Vintage Selection soon.
Honestly, I don't see anything here flying off the shelves. Don't get me wrong because I love what I got, but it's not frenzy inspiring. Hell, it seems like everyone and their grandma has Feline, so I think even that will be around awhile.

I was going to completely skip this collection, but decided to get Style Curve l/s. I actually like that its a sheerer purple, does look a lot like RIS in lipstick form. I'm going to wear them together...purrrrty. I own mostly nude & pink lipsticks so this will be my first bright-er lipstick. If it looks ok on me i'll consider colors like Violetta and Show Orchid eventually (I know they are much brighter but gives me an idea)
I love Madly Megenta ccb but figure I'll just get it later on since its perm.
Shontay I wish my skin looked like that with no foundation... Jealous! :)

You're so right about the beauty powders and Style Curve! I still don't have a purple lipstick (Blooming Lovely isn't counting), so i think Style Curve is a nice start for me.
Shontay you look amazing as always! Thanks for all the info and swatches!
