Very pretty! That shade's on my list! I don't see what you're talking about with your skin. I just see a really pretty glow. I'd like to know everything that you have on your face.

Thanks, ladies. I walked by a Chanel counter again today and it took everything in me not to play around with these lipsticks again. I still really want Secrete.

CartoonChic, I'm wearing Make Up For Ever Face and Body foundation #18 with Laura Mercier Secret Brightening powder #2. I have YSL's Touche Eclat #4 to help under the eyes, too. Love that stuff. I'm also wearing Desire blush by Nars, but it doesn't show up all that well in the photo. Wanted to keep it light since I had pink lips.

My poor eyeliner finally gave out on my waterline. I had been wearing it for 10 hours, so I'm not mad at it.

what are you talking about you have great skin! and that shade looks lovely on you! I want it. Could I have too many brght pink lipsticks at once? D:

@elegent-one, there is Enjouee, and from what I now that's a pink coral! smiles.gif

@shypo, do show us the lipsticks you ordered when they arrive! I'm interested to see how red Palpitante will turn out to be smiles.gif

Elegant, I don't remember seeing a pink coral. I remember there was only an orange(which I bought) and another, lighter orange that reminded me a lot of my beloved Chalys except it didn't have that shimmer factor that Chalys has. It was lighter. There was just a slew of pinks. Rose pink, bright pink, nude pink...a few reds, too.

Thanks. I can see my skin closeup and it's just not right. I have tiny bumps around the lower half of my face and my lips are rough. It's probably weather/hormones/lack of sleep/skin allergy related. In the meantime, there's makeup to keep me looking presentable. greengrin.gif

Thanks for the info! I do see Desire. One of my favorite bubblegum pinks.

 

I stopped by 2 Chanel counters again tonight. They both told me they'll have the new RAs at the end of the month. I give up! I can't wait that long anymore and will be placing an order. I need to decide which colors to get. I bought my other Chanel lipsticks sight unseen. These shouldn't be any different.

Not Shypo, and I won't have time to take pics today, but I got Palpitante yesterday and while it looks quite red in the tube, on the lips you can see a good amount of the raspberry tone (more than in the pic of Palpitante you posted on your blog), and if you use a tissue to take it off it looks more pink than red to me on the tissue. It is really pretty!

That sounds very good, way too good to skip. How would you say does it compare to Moxie?

Hi bis!  Moxie has more red in it and of course the different finish makes Palpitante somewhat softer looking (but it is still very bright!). Here's Moxie on the left, Palpitante on the right:

I'm sorry Bonitinha, but life got in the way today and I'm not making the trip after all. Had a hectic early morning and now I'm just staying inside. Just one of those days, you know?

I really wish there were swatches of these babies online for all of us. I'm kinda sick of trips to the mall and would much rather have boxes land at my door. If I had swatches to jog my memory I could buy according to how badly I need a color. The names just aren't helping. Secrete is the only one I remember by name b/c I was so close to buying it. I should've.

Ha! I've been so spoiled by Karla that now when she takes little breaks, I go a little nuts.

It's really a shame that Chanel doesn't throw a bone to bloggers. They may think it's beneath them and maybe they don't need the help, but it would only make me more enabled to buy more and quicker! Come on, Chanel!

elegant - Yup, the pinky coral or what I call salmon pink is Enjouee.

 

These new RAs have very long and difficult names to remember. lol. I decided to go examine them again and I got some pics on my iPhone this time. So apparantly Chanel is releasing local specific shades again. I have Evanescante (not 100% sure this is the spelling) at my counters, but not Rouge Noir, Coromandal and I suspect Passion and Inimitable. Evanescante is more mauvey while Gracile peachy.

 

Excentrique, Evanescante, Seduisante, Secrete

Pirate, Palpitante, Exaltee, Gracile

 

 

 

 

Jersey Rose, Chintz, Evanescante, Gracile, Seduisante, Secrete, Magnolia at the bottom

 

 

 

Top: Evanescante, bottom: Extatique
