Rouge Noir. Definitely in love with this shade. After trying it out for a full day, I do find it makes my lips feel a little tight when it dries down, but not terribly. And the lasting power is excellent for me.
Please ignore the eyes. They're quite swollen and I feel like I've aged ten years in three days.

You lucky girl!! I saw this picture of Keira Knightley wearing Evanescente: http://www.vogue.com.au/beauty/news/keira+knightleys+make+up+secrets,19693
It only makes me want to get it more!

Rouge Noir looks awesome on you! Is it wrong that now I wanna get it even though I own Rouge Noir RC? I find Rouge Noir RC darker though based on your pick so I think I'm justified to have both :D

Is Rouge Noir RC discontinued? I can't find it on Chanel's website. I've been wondering about the difference between the RA and RC Rouge Noir versions.

I had put pirate on hold a week before the RA came out and when I did my complimentary make-over thingie my SA said oh let me get those for you. Her manager {I think it was the district wide manager} asked if it was the new clicky RA and my SA said yes. I was told that the stores have to send back all the stuff as soon as it is d/c. Your only hope imo is to go into a nordies or macys and ask them to check computers for stock in other shops. That is how I got my coygirl order in.... couldn't do it online or in any local shop or even via phone but they still had it showing in stock on their internal computer systems and sent me one of those

Thanks. I'm not sure if I want the RC Rouge Noir badly enough to do that. I'm happy with the RA version, but was more so curious about the RC version.
and I have the RC version and am mildly curious about the RA version. Maybe I will go in and do a comparison swatch friday when I go have lunch with my Chanel SA buddy. Otherwise I kinda would rather spend the monies on a totally diff color. RAs seem to be much more sheenier than the RCs I have...like a satin or luster vs a mattene I guess.

That's the same thing I'm thinking, but I only have one RC to go by and that's Caractère. Please share if you do a comparison swatch.

Hi CartoonChic, i managed to stop by the store today, so as promised, Chanel Délurée:
As you can see in the background the weather was very sh*tty today, it was extremely cloudy and raining constantly
But i do believe the swatch is fairly accurate despite of that, so here you go :)
Oh, thanks so much! I think I like it. How would you describe it? It seems like there's some red in it. Does it have shimmer like Famous and Inimitable?

You're welcome!
And yup it definitely has a tiny bit of red in it, although i must say that irl it even pulled a bit more brown than in the pic. I also didn't notice any shimmers like in Famous or Inimitable. I normally intended to swatch some other browns next to Délurée, but i only managed to get to the store 5 minutes before closing time, so i really had to hurry. This weekend i might go back, if you want i can swatch Déterminée next to it then, so you have something to compare it to.

My Evanescente arrived. I just swiped it on real quick, so can't say much about it yet. The color itself is really beautiful, but it's very subtle. I guess it's because it's very close to my natural lip color, I feel ike it doesn't show much, I expected the formula to be more opaque and somehow thicker. Feels a bit drying as well, I only have it on for maybe 20 minutes and my bottom lip already looks a little crinkly. So from my first impression I feel like the formula won't become my favortite, I prefer the RC Shines.
I didn't apply Prep+Prime lip or a balm underneath though, so I hope I will like it better when I use those.
I got the most amazing sample with my order. The package felt really heavy, so I was already wondering what's in there. It was a notebook by Viktor+&Rolf, like a real book, heavy and very elegant looking in white and black. I thought it was just a notebook, but when I opened it, there was a miniture perfume bottle in it! Like there was a hole in the middle of the book sides and it was embedded in there. So cute!

Wow, where did you order from? I wonder if there's something like that in the US.

It is!
But I just realized it's a mens' scent, LOL. I put it on and was like:
now that's a little strong. Too late now, will smell manly for the rest of the day.
I ordered from Parfumdreams. Parfum und Kosmetik aus Ihrer Online-Parfumerie – Parfumdreams.de
I think they don't ship internationally. I'm a little disappointed with their customer service. I received a nail polish with a broken lid. It looked like someone already tried to open it forcefully. But they won't let me send it back, because they said they check everything before they pack it and it must've happend during delivery, which I doubt. So in order to return it I have to take the whole package with everything I ordered to the post office for them to check and examine everything and do some paperwork, and then I have to send that back to Parfumdreams, and so forth. I'm not in the mood for that kind of a hassle.
I'll just keep it, kind of bummed about it tough. Not sure if I want to order there again.
My Evanescente didn't last long on my lips, I'm not impressed. I guess I'm not a Rouge Allure kinda gal.

After all the hasssle with BR you're allowed a little manly scent, no?
I had a similar problem with Parfumdreams once. The pump of a Dior foundation was faulty, but they didn't want to take it back because it was not in their allotted timeframe for returns. I stopped ordering from them then.
But BTT! I'd love to try Rouge Noir RA, because I was disappointed how L'Impatiente looks on all the bloggers who already got theirs.

LOL too funny! ![]()
I'm sorry that Evanescente didn't work out for you. I took a quick peek at that shade yesterday in the store, and like you said it's indeed a very subtle color. What a shame about the staying power, my Enjouée has descent staying power but it does feel pretty drying as well after a while.
