thank for the link. i shall be skipping this lippie. i just know it wont work for me. and seeing as i hate to put gloss on top of lipsticks i wont be mixing it with anything either.
 

If this is anything like Yash, I am buying in multiples.  I hope the lipglass is nice and pigmented.  I have been dreaming of a nude, opaque, not blue based flesh colored lipgloss.  Dang, am I getting a little picky there or wha?

I love this color in swatches and youtubes.  Finally a nice flesh colored lipstick and gloss with a warm undertone.  Lurve it

Hmmmmm...... I still think I'm going to try it. It's for a good cause so why not give it a whirl?

I just applied the lipstick & lipglass together. See below. Here are my thoughts:

 

The lipstick is very creamy and pigmented. However, it does look like a concealer on my NC 30 skintone.  I prefer the lipglass that is a very nice nude. In case I had to pick between lipstick and lipglass, I'd go with the lipglass.

 

My recommendation is to wear the lipstick with a lip liner. Maybe I should try it with Spice or Whirl.

 

Keep in mind that the money goes to the AIDS foundations. I don't mind experimenting with the lipstick. It has got a great texture.

just got back from MAC and one of my fav MUA let me see it omg its so pretty it's as if creme de nude and blankety had a baby im getting a couple of them. AHH I'm so excited to get it

This lippie does have a nice texture - soft and creamy when I applied it to my hand.

 

One of my local MAC stores had it up in their back room and I tried it on my hand.

 

The color is just gorgeous - I can't describe it - I haven't seen anything like it.

 

You will need to use a lip pencil w/it.

 

I can't wait for it to be released!

Will be purchasing a lip pencil for the lipstick! I cannot wait!

OK, I have both of those, I'm trying to convince myself I do not need this. Blankety is probably my favourite neutral ever (or The Faerie Glen)... I'm still getting used to CDN... I've only tried it once since I bought it a few weeks ago and I'm not sure about it. OK, I'm definitely going to have to at least swatch this one.

At first I found the colour to be too brown and nude for me, and I like a nude lip normally. However once I paired it with the right things I liked it more.

 

I have taken to using spice liner blended with the lipstick and topping it with a warm pink like fashion scoop. I also like stripdown liner with the lipstick and florabundance lipglass.

 

I haven't played with the gloss as much.

Does anyone have a confirmed launch date for these? I'd heard February 2nd, but that's obvious passed, so I'm wondering when I can expect to see these in person.

i was going to skip this b/c in the promos it looks like VG2 to me.  but now I'm not so sure.

See ths is how VG2 looks on me with Girls Delight on top.

Blankety is my fav nude/lipstick- but dare I say this VVglam might top it shh don't tell blankety. Its def worth swatching at the very least but beware you will probably but it even if you have the other two lol

I wasn't sure at first, but I think this could be a really pretty nude with my super-pale skin! I'm going to wait on them for a while so I can afford them, but they seem promising, and could be really nice for summer!!! I don't own Blankety or CDN, but they're both shades on my "want to have" list, so this is sounding good! :)

I was just looking for the perfect warm nude lippy the other day, and while I went home with Fresh Brew I think this may become my HG nude lippy. I'll be getting both the lipstick and the glass, and hopefully they'll show up on my lips. Otherwise, time to buy that pot of lip erase I keep meaning to call the SF MAC Pro store and buy. >_>

I want to order the lipstick, but I don't want to pay 8$ just to have 1 lipstick shipped.

Exactly the shipping is ridiculous and then if they screw up you have to pay to send it back to them. I can't wait to try it though because I love nude lipsticks.

i would have ordered it if they had the mac 222 since ive always wanted that brush, and i can get free shipping, but macys doesnt have the 222 :( so now i have to keep waiting

I'm trying not to order it. Something tells me it'll take so long to get here if I choose standard. I wish it was at Bloomingdales because I know even if they say it takes 2 or 3 days to even ship, it'll be at my house within that time.

I think I'll wait until I can get to a counter to pick them up so that I can check them out in store and natural lighting before I take the plunge. :)
