I picked up a few items from this collection and I'm considering one of the bronzers if it's still there in a week or so.

 

I got:

 

E/S - Short Shorts, Swell Baby

 

Lipglass - Girl on Board

 

I already owned Naked (pigment)

I finally received Saffron and I really like it. It was one of the shades that I thought I don't need, but it is a beautiful color for a summer look. It is less pigmented than any of the other SB e/s, but as I wear it on the inner third of the lid - almost as a contour - I am glad that it is not uber-pigmented. Saffron goes well with the Careblend bronzer and MP. Yeah! dothewave.gif

 

I am curious: those of you who bought Saffron from the MC collection, is it the same Saffron as in SB or is there any significant different (especially in pigmentation).

Littlepickle, you look so gorgeous and glowing. Wesley has this look on his face "like this kid is coming in to steal my thunder, she can't cuddle, if she's holding a baby. Where's a mouse, I'm angry", just kidding. Have a safe delivery.

I only got Surf USA from this collection (I'm hoping to buy Sun Blonde and Saffron tomorrow), but here's a look I did yesterday using it + Sugarpill's Buttercupcake

I bought Saffron from the MC collection and the pigmentation is awesome. People who bought it from SB say it's not so pigmented. It swatched the same for me the 3 times that I've seen it in store, though. The color looks to be the same.

dxgirly, I love how you coordinate everything (eyes, lips, cheeks, hair color, clothes, etc.) together. Gorgeous! heart.gif

 

Shontay, that's how I felt when I swatched Saffron from SB at the store. I thought it was pigmented, too. yes.gif

 

Off topic. I used my 187 for the first time today. It felt so soft! It's silly to admit, but I bought this brush a while ago. I kept admiring it by simply looking at it because it's just too beautiful. th_roll1.gifI'm glad I finally got to use it. LOL. I cannot wait to use it with some pigmented blushes. I sometimes get the crown looks with my 129. I think I need some practice. girlhaha.gif

 

I cannot wait to wear my SB goodies tomorrow! choochoo.gif

surf usa is one of my favourite shadows right now. i'm so thankful that hubby bought it for me and im shocked at myself thinking i could skip it! lol!

iagree.gif   Surf USA and Saffron are my favs, but I hardly touched Swell Baby.

 

I am surprised how well Gilded White holds up if you let it dry completely. I swatched it for a friend on my hand, then forgot about it and took a quick shower. It was still there after the shower - almost at least.

I always wonder why MAC would not provide larger quantities, especially if there is only one blush. Don't they miss out on a lot of $$$ by limiting certain products to a relatively small number?

i didn't get saffron - not sure why but it just didn't even enter my radar despite all the great reviews!

I held off on Saffron both times because I've got Hot Hot Hot, which is similar, but a little more flattering for my eye color and skin tone (it's not the same of course, but close enough to let me resist)

Oh, here's a good look I did yesterday for going out to an artsy film club screening (so basically, semi-casual but still prowwwwling graucho.gif):

 

Face: Slight bit of LLB mixed with my normal shade of Careblend powder (light)

 

Cheeks: Stereo Rose (applied dry) to highlight My Paradise

 

Eyes: Dirty GPS in upper/lower waterline, slightly smudged. Summer Stash peachy beige on lids and brow - applied with finger then slightly blended with a 217. Plum/Summer Stash in crease and brown/Summer Stash at outer edge of crease and winged up and out - both applied and blended with a 219 (this brush works well with the stacks, I'm finding). Haute 'n Naughty mascara on top lashes only.

 

Lips: Krazy Kahuna, not blotted.

 

Nails: Earthly Harmony (that brown shade from last fall)

 

Was wearing this with black silk harem pants, olive green tank top, mustard yellow 50's jacket and sneakers. (I'm one of those people who likes to coordinate my makeup with my clothes, so that's why I always stick in what I was wearing)

i'd love to but i'm a lady on a budget! my wages have been extremely low over the past year so sadly i can't buy as much as i used to :( darn me working on commission!

I adore everything I got and have been mixing things with TTB from last year.
