So yesterday I got back to the US and had my packages waiting for me (hibiscus, saffron, ever hip)

I liked hibiscus more than expected. :P I thought it was gonna ook too much like cockney, nut no :D

I recently started looking for my paradise and people are selling it on MUA for 50 bucks... I dont think its worth it :(

I was so late to buy stuff, got lucky enough to get hibiscus :S

It probably depends how much you like the color and how often you would wear it. I really like MP to give me this sun-kissed/burnt summer-ey look and I would not want to miss it. Did you have a chance to swatch it in Spain?

MP is definitely one of the highlights in this collection, but MAC should have produced larger quantities, especially as there was just ONE bush in the entire collection. It probably would have been different if they had released the blushettes. But having a huge collection and just one cheek powder was out of proportion. But who knows, it might show up on the website again just like STO did.

Now I want Tan-Tint as a contour but it's all sold out. :(

I'm so glad that I got what I want from this collection. Surf USA is just too gorgeous! I used it with Undercurrent Pearlglide and both were so gorgeous! Also, Surf USA is even more gorgeous with Odalisque Mega Metal e/s and Cool Heat e/s!

I stopped by the MAC counter yesterday to say "hi" to my MA, and I noticed that Surf USA is the ONLY e/s to have sold out from this collection. That says a lot, doesn't it? cutey.gif

I didn't want Hibiscus or My Paradise, but now I do.... And I have the chance to buy them at a reasonable price! I should just do it right?

I'm thinking about going to pick up an sun-tint because that thing feels so nice on the lips. I have dry cracky lips and it totally makes it the smoothest thing ever. I might pick up a bronzer stick while I'm at it.

MAC-Guy

I hauled my stuff the first day the collex was released.

I could have picked up everything during the pre-release party but I wasn't feeling well.

I'm so lucky I have such great MUA's @ my local MAC stores.

They were kind enough to pull everything for me ahead of time and held it until I picked it up.

Cupquake03 -

Thanks for the tip about Hibiscus and Fleurry of Fun.  I love Hibiscus just the way it is - straight out of the tube w/no gloss and Mahogany or Auburn l/l!

But FOF is such a fun product! I've been wearing it with every bronze, brown, coral, and orange l/s in my arsenal.

I still have one Sun-Tint left from last year, but I was not really a big fan of the texture. I wish it was more moisturizing. I didn't even bother to try them out this year. Do you find that the formula is better this year?

First time I tried them on was this go round. How long does it normally last on the lips?

I can only speak for myself, but I would say not more than 30 min. Re-applying did not bother me, but rather the lack of moisturizing qualities.

Ever since I saw a pic of a user here with hibiscus and krazy kahuna on top, i'm kinda wishing i got Krazy Kahuna but its all sold out... *sadface*

I bet you can find Krazy Kahuna at a store or counter somewhere! It'd be worth it to call around - it's really one of the most unique lip products MAC's done all year and very versatile too.

thanks for saving me some cash on these, bad texture + bad pigmentation = no interest for me

more money for e/s on a 2nd haul, I am still debating to get Saffron, Surf USA. Sun Blonde and the STO stacks.  I wish you guys could talk me down off the STO pigment stack but they sound too awesome to skip now.

yeah i'm really not a fan of the sun tints at all!

check out the latest specktra video tutorial here

dxgirly, once again you are looking fabulous!!! The colours are awesome on you!! May I ask what is on your lips as well? :) Looks familiar...and lovely!

I have to admit that I haven't worn Hibiscus again since I bought it. Such a shame. I should wear it tomorrow....maybe this evening when I go out.

I have not worn Hibiscus and Bust Out lipsticks yet. I need to try them on my lips! LOL

I like Hibiscus. I am going to wear it tonight because if I try to wait till tomorrow I'll forget.  Bust Out looks pretty but I just couldn't bring myself to buy it.

I just spent the last ten minutes using my eyeshadow brush to press down all eight of my crushed pigments, and now my left arm is covered in multicolored swatches. It was oddly satisfying. XD
