For some reason I envision these as being like, Slimshines Version 2.0

Which TBH for me, a fan of lipsticks with intense pigment and opaque coverage, is kinda meh. Oh well, i guess I can at last look forward to a pretty promo image =]

I like lipsticks with a sheen rather than a glossy finish to them, and not too opaque, so I'm hoping this might be up my alley. 

There are 'chubby pencil' shiny lipsticks about, Barry M make some I think, but I haven't tried them yet.  Reviews have been good, though.

sounds like a launch full of glaze or cremesheen lipsticks...i can't wait!

I love all the new tech - it's all more flattering, makes life easier and in the long run, cheaper for the consumer, since one product can now do the work of 2, 3 or even 4 separate ones.

Still, you've got to bring the rich, gorgeous, innovative colors - it IS makeup after all. But that's why I love MAC, compared to so many of the luxury lines that play it safe. Not to mention, since they hire people with taste and smarts like you, Ms. Pink Pants, to tell 'em what's what!

Oh, I am a huge fan of slimshines, in fact I collect them whenever I find one nowadays. I'd looove to see some new technology lipsticks that resemble slimshines! If it is so, I might even forgive mac for discontinuing my dear slimshines 

I saw an ad for the new Clinique chubby sticks (or something like that) and I wonder if they will be sort of like that? They look rather interesting!  They were described in the ad as a glossy, sheer, and moisturizing color, I believe

I think the tube of those l/s is exactly like the Pro Longwear Lipcremes, but all black and shiny. I posted a video in the WW thread, where you can see one of them. I hope there will be really great colours, lots of pinks.  These are gonig to be permanent, right?

I think I can skip these. I've been liking matte lips better lately, so this will be an easy skip.

Unless the formula is amazing or something.

I love colors like this on days when I dont want to wear full on lippies. I cant wait to see the other colors. I like the packaging too  

The packaging for these looks GORGEOUS (according to the video)! Looks like classier Slimshines, and perhaps they will be as cushy and light as slimshines too! Can't wait to see more info!

yeah i'm not feeling these at all. i will wait for some in depth reviews but for now i wont pay much attention :)

I never tried Slimshines, but they did sound nice. I really hope this will be a nice formula too:)

I really liked Slimshines but the technology has advanced a lot since them so I'm expecting a big improvement in formulation.

If these are slimshines 2.0 (which Lou, I agree with you- I think they are), I can easily skip. I do not care for slimshines. I B2M'd the one I had before I had even used half of it.

Still not feeling this collection =/ Honestly, if I want a sheer and shiny lipstick, I will go to Walgreens and get one of those new Covergirl ones before I fork over 14 bucks for a MAC one lol

Besides, I really need to put myself on a lipstick restriction. I have WAY TOO MANY I need to use before they go bad on me.

I didn't even try to put a Pro Longwear on straight from the tube, but i can imagine it would be hard. Too big, and too flat. 

I have a bit of a lipstick addiction too lol Currently its with brown based pinkie nudes. Maybe its a Toriphile thing :)

Totally remind me of that Pro LONGWEAR LIPCREME collection, in terms on packaging. Seems like they are recycling their old products..:S
