Need a red lipstick with a metallic sheen like eyshadow

Hi ladies and gents.

 

Ok so I had this red lipstick once upon a time which had a very specific velvet / metallic finish to it,which,the only way I can

describe it is it looked almost like you were wearing a red shimmery eyeshadow on your lips.

This is what i want to try and track down again, any red lipsticks with this metallic like finish to them?

Adora by Kat Von D is a red metallic lipstick that sounds like what your looking for.  I think MUFE has a similar color as well- do a search for red metallic lip swatch and Frost red lip swatch & see if that's what you're looking for. Since Adora is limited edition, Temptalia featured some similar colors on her blog for people who were looking for a dupe- you should check out her blog and look through her lip swatches :)  Good luck!

Adora or one of the MUFE rouge artist. 

 

Personally, i prefer the adora as i find the MUFE ones a little too dry.

Kat Von D's Adora popped into my head first, but it was a gorgeous limited edition item that's pretty much impossible to find now. My next thought would be Giorgio Armani's Rouge D'Armani lipstick in #404, which was also limited edition but it's still widely available for purchase and hasn't sold out yet.
