So I went to MAC yesterday and since I already own Lucky Green I thought that I would be getting 2 of the lipgelee's and 2 lipsticks. No lipgelee's for me. They were very pretty but a little too shimmery/glittery. I thougt that the gold one might resemble Goldyrocks...not so much. But I did walk away with 2 Ever Hips!!! I love them! It is the perfect coral lip that I have been searching for. So I couldnt walk out with just that.... ....so I also picked up Patina, Sketch and Blackground PP.

This morning I felt like playing in my make-up so this is the look I did :) Lucky Green on the eyes, Marine Life on the cheeks and Ever Hip on the lips..

The only thing I want from this collection is Groundcover which is so ugly beautiful but I have a head cold so my judgement is suspect.

I went to the store and picked up a backup of Ever Hip, Summer Shower and I ended up getting Alpha girl. I hadn't planned on getting it at all because I was hearing everyone say it doesn't work on medium skin types, but I tested it in the store and I really love the light little glow that Alpha Girl gives me, It looks nice, like a slight flush but not overbearing just kinda subtly there.

Doe anyone know if Groundcover is anything like Copperplate? Or maybe someone can do comparision swatches?

I'm so happy that I'm getting Ever Hip l/s on Wednesday!! I'm now waiting for my order confirmation for Budding Beauty Lipgelee.

I can just imagine it in the crease with my favorite gray/grey Mac shadow, Clue and Remotely Grey but like I said I wouldn't trust me right now.

It just seems so different and uniquely ugly which means it's a must have.

It's been a crazy night!  Went by two MAC counters to pick up Summer Shower, Budding Beauty and Ever Hip.  I'd called the Bloomies counter (I went to high school w/ the Manager there) and had Summer Shower and Budding Beauty held for me as they were sold out of Ever Hip.  Called the Macy's counter and had them hold Ever Hip and Summer Shower for me.  I went out armed with my 12 empties for 2 B2M lippies.

Here's where the fun begins.

First I stop by the Macy's counter.  I saw Budding Beauty but passed.  They were sold out of Ever Hip but thankfully me calling ahead snagged the last one.  I did B2M for EverHip so I only paid for Summer Shower.  OMG, Summer Shower looks just so absolutely gorgeous!!!!  I knew I had to buy another so was very glad Bloomingdales hooked me up.

Or so I thought.

I walk down to the Bloomies counter and find out not only were they sold out of Budding Beauty but didn't even put my stuff on hold like they were supposed to!    And as if that wasn't bad enough, they were SOLD OUT of Budding Beauty AND wouldn't let me B2M for Summer Shower!!!  After a lot of apologies from them (and getting me to laugh when one of the MAs found out BB was sold out said, "I'm glad I bought that sh!t online!") I did B2M for Up the Amp and paid for another Summer Shower.  Then when I left the counter I ordered Budding Beauty online from my iPhone.

I didn't think I'd like the Creamsheen formula but I am so in total love with Ever Hip.  Such a pretty coral color.  Can't wait to pair it with Budding Beauty!  And Summer Shower has the most gorgeous shimmer--looks like the type of lipstick TinkerBell would wear.  The MAs at Macy's were fawning all over the color.  When they put it over Magenta lipliner (which I have) we all drooled over it.

I passed on the shadows as I wasn't interested in them.  Passed on the beauty powders too.
