What do you girls think of the Mary Kay Skin Care and makeup line recently?

I bought this foundation about a year ago as an alternative to my go to Studio Fix Fluid foundation and for the most part I like this foundation, and I always get tons of compliments when I wear...

I have the soft ocher paint pot and I have to say I'm not a big fan. For the price I paid for it I was expecting it to make my eye shadows really pop and keep them from creasing. It did keep them...

Overall, I think this is a great foundation for most people. It's definitely for normal-to-dry skin in my opinion. I have combo skin and my cheeks loved the hydration. However, my T-zone got...

I know it says eye makeup remover, but I use it all over my face to remove makeup. I would suggest saturating a cotton pad and then placing it over your eye for a few seconds to let the...

This is the best brush hands down. If I lost all of my brushes this would be the first I would go out and repurchase. I use this to place shadows in the crease, to blend colours together. I also...
Mary Kay
A lot of the products are just terrible & overpriced for what it is when you can get far better for cheaper. Its old lady makeup & behind the times in innovation.
Also - the company is actually a pyramid scheme that has hurt a lot of women.
Sorry if that offends anyone that sells it or you are here to push it - but the truth is the truth. Go to pinktruth.com - that is where many women who were high up in the company spilled the beans about it.
Oh My! I'm sorry you have that view. Have you tried any of the products lately? I am proudly a Mary Kay Consultant and don't try to push anyone anything.
Were you a consultant before? I just want to know the opinion of other since I started this business not so long ago. Thanks God I have been very successful with it. I have heard of that website before but really not interested in what they have to say because everything in this world has a good side and bad side and the business works if you do. And if you don't do what the contract says you can't be blaming the company. Its not a pyramid scheme because on a pyramid my recruits can't grow at the same speed as me or surpass me and in Mary Kay you can. I'm sorry you have such bad impression. Hope it could change :D Thanks for the response and sharing your opinion!
I figured thats why you were here - was to promote your business.
I'm not going to get into a dialogue about it because I love this site.
I know countless women who have purchased the cars (they are not free) or their husbands make the payments & make others think that they are earning it through sales - so wrong. Yes, you can sell SOME, but its based on recruiting over & over & over not sales. I will not post again - because this company always attracts controversy & thats not wanted on this site. Just go read at pinktruth.com it covers it all better than I can.
nothing against you personally - but I figured you were here to try & recruit/sell. This may be in violation of board rules here.
NO I don't want to recruit or sale on this site. I'm aware of the board rules. Didn't want to start a controversy either. Just wanted to know people's opinion. I have been visiting this site for a long time and just renew my account my interest is to learn from other women. I have nothing against you either. And I'm not taking anything personal so please don't do it either. I'm not "promoting my business." So sad you had such a bad experience. Take Care! :D

I have tried quite a few of the products. I love the eye makeup remover and it's a bargain. More money for me to spend on Chanel & Dior! The mascara is not bad the one in the black tube, but not the waterproof one, it doesn't clump - I mean it won't give you big thick lashes like Dior Iconic, but it doesn't smudge and is easy to get off, so I wear it in the summer on casual days minimal make-up days. Don't like the skincare, or the mineral eyeshadows etc.
