MAC - Semi Precious Discussion

Thanks to GlamQueen21 and Katred we now know that the July Mineralize collection is called Semi Precious!  We have seen pictures of these lovely looking mes and msf and it looks like MAC are going back to their roots with the mineralize shadows! What are you guys hoping to see?  there will be 12 mineralize eye shadows, 4 mineralized skin finishes and 3 mineral blushes.

That top right green is pulling me in. I really don't know why I bother with mes because I rarely pull out the ones that I have. But if these perform well that green will have to belong to me.

 

I'm going to need swatches of all the products before I can say for sure but the pics are making me drool.

I just realized this collection releases on my wedding day! AND were staying in the Ceasars (the Pro-MAC store is there!) My wedding is at 1 in the afternoon, looks like I'll be stopping by before LMAO

Yay! I'm loving the look of this collection! I'll definitely need the dark green, the dark red, the gold/black, possibly the silver/pink one, and that deep blue one! And maybe an MSF- maybe. I don't know if I can get over the nipple thing- it still cracks me up! girlhaha.gif

If this swatches as gorgeous as it looks I may skip Surf Baby.Some of the eyeshadows look like the ones released with the Style Black Collection. I wonder if they are the samehmm.gif

I'll hold off until I can swatch, but there isn't a single colour I would rule out from the eye shadow photos. The blushes really don't do anything for me, but those shadows make me weak in the knees.

The shadows are so pretty. the greens and the deep blackened red are pulling me in!

Admittedly, I'm not really liking the look of this collection so far. Nothing looks very exciting to me as far as this collection and the Flighty collection goes... Still unsure about Surf Baby (that packaging! Don't know how to feel about it) But excited for you singer! Wedding day and a collection release! Lucky girl!! How far into planning the wedding are you? Congrats again :)

generally i am not either however these look like the type i love rather than the boring ones mac have banged out over the past couple of mineral collections :)

Call me crazy but everything looks likes throw up in a pan to me. The MSF's are especially hideous looking to me, why did they make that weird design. I would have preffered the original swirled part covering the whole thing.  I also never use my mineralized shadows so it's an easy skip.

oh yeah the msf have very weird middles indeed! i like to think they are nipples! lol!
