okay. i think i did well. i finally clicked the checkout button and only bought the brushes. i am telling myself i have more than enough MSFs for now and I don't need any more lipsticks that are pinks or nudes. Same for glosses.
of course this resolve of mine could totally disappear at any time, but i want to get some non makeup stuff so i'm using that to bribe myself to stay away. :-p

it is really crazy indeed!!! But it depends on collections and city where you buy and of course on products themselves! After two weeks surf baby was still at the counter near here (Florence) but in Milan (bigger city) a lot of things were sold out and in other cities some things have never arrived -____- (my paradise, hibiscus, some people here have never seen flaunting it from peacocky, sold out everywhere!) Mineralize collections and special packaging are the most wanted here! venomous villains was almost completely sold out the second day of the launch T____T I also have noticed people here prefer products with cool udertones... lucky me, I love warm colors XD

yeah sometimes countries get stupidly low stock on things too which doesn't help. i know germany tends to get very few items which sucks :( in the uk we have a few more sites stocking mac now so that makes things a bit easier for us.

OMG, I haven't been on here in forever! Seems like I pop in for a couple days & I go MIA for a couple months! I have missed you all...
Any-who, I have been drooling over this collection for months. I have been a MSF whore since they first hit the scene years ago! It finally seems that MAC has stepped up their game on MES, I still have a couple from Flashtronic, goddamn those are just glittery messes.
I am contemplating getting the brushes, they're a great idea, but I just don't know...
Momma-spy if you're lurking today, I missed you & love you lots!

^^ Hi, good to see you back. I did the same thing and pulled out some of the older mes and remembered the reason they stay shoved in the back of a drawer. Try in to put some product on the brush was impossible. It was glitter and chucky and giant mess.
I look forward to these new ones. I'll only get a few as my e/s collection is beyond silly.

I totally can not wait for this collecction...I have my list made out already.
It's kinda annoying cause I hear this collection launches the same time as Fashion Flower launches in Ireland. I really want items otu of both collections so I see myself being broke fast.
Some products I want out of the Semi Precious Collection are the Geo Pink Cremesheen Gloss, Gem Of Roses Lipstick, Rare Find and Smoked Ruby Eyeshadow. I'll probably have a look through the rest of the collection at the counter.
I really think this collection is going to sell fast. What will everyone be picking up??

I saw this collection today and let me say I'm very disappointed. They got so little stock that they were selling testers, so many of the items didn't have testers for them. I got the last Warmth of Coral (without testing it because there were no tester), so it better be good. I also got GG, SR and DI, they were the only decent ones from the MES. All the other MES were almost awful in my opinion, not appealing at very least. I don't know how Karla made them look so pretty, but when I swatched them they were gritty, patchy, uneven and many of the colours were dirty in a bad way. I kinda went straight back hating MES.
I wasn't interested in the MSF's so I only swatched one (I think it was the rose one) and it felt gritty and grainy too. Pressed Amber on the other hand was pretty in person, and it wasn't too dark on my pale skin. It reminded me of Darkly My Dear too much so I left it. But it could be nice alternative if someone missed DMD or Sur.
The glosses did nothing for me (this is a first! :D), nor the lipsticks.
So my final haul was Golden Gaze, Dark Indulgence, Smoked Ruby, Warmth Of Coral and Charged Water. In a whole, a collection this big, it was a huge miss. Don't feel bad if you don't get anything, I think there's not one must have product.

They were selling testers? Oh no, this is terrible! Can you at least return WoC if you don't like it?
I'm glad you confirmed that PA looks like DMD, so eventually I can skip it.
Too bad that the MSFs were gritty. Do you think it was this particular batch?

We cannot return make up here, so what's bought you have to stick with it.
And the testers they were selling were the actual testers already opened, not samples.
I don't know if it were a bad batch with the MSF's, but I really didn't like the one I tested.

Buy why are they selling the opened testers?! They are MA's so they should know how disgusting it is.

Liba,
I need your advice!
I keep asking but my mind keeps changing! I'm sorry if its a bother but your opinions and writing is so easy to understand.
Okay, I've decided not to get any Msfs unless I can't get the ones from blog sales but I've decided to limit myself to 6 mes. Just 6=D
My list so far is:
-Clarity
-Hint of sapphire
-Golden gaze
-Blue Sheen
-Quartz Fusion
and either Unsurpassable or Dark Indulgence. I don't know which one to get. I asked my bfs opinion on the mes and he said unsurpassable looks kinda dirty in the he swatches and he'd rather I wear dark indulgence. I think unsurpassable is quite dirty looking without any base but since I havent seen any swatches with bases, i dont know how it looks with maybe trophy under it.
I'm NC25/NW20 asian with brown eyes [between really light and kinda dark brown].
You can get much more variety out of Unsurpassable - just find one with the blue veins only on one side of the pan and you will be able to get pale light green, pale periwinkle, pale greyish mixed color, or bright green, bright violet blue or medium grey-green out of one pan, depending on how you apply it. Still, it's sort of a light, semi-pastel color when dry and bright when over a base and sometimes pastels and brights don't work for people.
Dark Indulgence is less unique, but it's easy to apply and easy to deal with and not weird or challenging. If your bf is paying for all this makeup - get the one he likes, but see if you can try Unsurpassable in person.

Liba, are Clarity and Jade's Fortune different enough to get both? If you had to pick one, which one would you pick? I don't want to overspend on this collection. They look so beautiful in the pans and I'm finding it difficult. Would I definately be able to use the separate colours in Jade's Fortune? I wish we had some really good swatches, in Karla's swatches they both look really grey.
Clarity without a lot of black veins will be different from Jade's Fortune, but you could get them to look similar. The choice would be between Clarity - a color that can look good as a brow highlight dry or lid color wet, but has glitter - and Jade's Fortune, which is a greyish yellow that will look good on people who normally can't wear yellow. I'd probably pick Clarity if I could only pick one, because the sparkly effect is beautiful.

Hmmm. I wonder why Jade's Fortune always looks grey if it is a good yellow. I think I need to find more swatches because I don't want a sheer glitter colour but I also don't want anything too grey. I don't see grey as special because there are so many out there.
