I'm so bad I just ordered Summershower and Ever Hip from MAC.co.uk *sigh* just a few minutes after I thought I had convinced myself that I don't need it!

Where did you find the FF lipsticks on the MAC site? My laptop is not cooperating grrrr

Not sure what's happening.  I just ordered via Debenhams, but I went to have a look at the MAC site and whilst I can see the headings I can't see the products - I keep getting told to download the latest version of Flash.  I've done this (and installed it of course), and still can't see the products, on either Firefox or Internet Explorer.

Edit:  OK, now it decides to suddenly start working  *shrugs*

hmm.. i think i will def skip it then because I like being able to sheer things out instead of building it up :)

Seriously, I would be so irritated if I ordered online and eventually end up with a humongous nipple MSF or an uneven blush. I'm buying any MES, but in some of the swatches, I saw some MES (was it Golden Glaze?) that was almost completely black with little gold. The most exciting part of mineralize collection is picking out the products, although I know it might agitate the MUA. But hey, I won't be the only one who wants a pretty MSF.

What's wrong with Debenhams? I've never had any problems with ordering from them. Plus I get a ton of Beauty Clubcard points! :)

I got

Rose Quartz MSF
Golden Gaze MES
Smoked Ruby MES
Unsurpassable MES
Mineral Mode MES
Clarity MES
Mineralised Charged Water

I've never received a dispatch e-mail on the same day as the order, but usually the following day.

okay drama over! Re-ordered with MAC and paid £2 extra for the named day delivery - though I ended up switching Smoked Ruby for HoS at the last min...HoS just seemed more 'me' :)

Oh I'm sure they're just fine :)  I just seem to have a lot of unlucky orders with them. I've had orders not turn up, cosmetics sent in a jiffy envelope - all loose and jangled inside, leading to messy/broken items, I've had orders returned to debenhams with no delivery attempted - I get a really good service from MAC so just prefer to order direct.

I saw a youtube video where someone had two Mineral Mode MES, and they looked completely different. That's really the downside of ordering online with these mineral products, you never know how the one you will get swatches. My Petticoat has so much veining, where others are a lot lighter. I want GG too, and I'm hoping for one with a lot of gold, because I don't wear dark eye makeups, I want it to look like a dirty gold on the skin rather than black with gold shimmer.

How weird. My orders from Debenhams are usually excessively packaged, like in 2 jiffy envelopes and an extra bag. Also never had any orders that didn't trun up. Maybe it's your postman/delivery man rather then Debenhams in that case.

That's so wierd, I'm the opposite! Nothing but great service from debs, and a lot of hassle from MAC - wrong products, delayed delivery, NO delivery...

Let us know what you think of Hint of Sapphire when you get it, it's one of the mes that I'm planning on checking out instore on Thursday :D

I think we are talking about the same video. These MES looked just utterly smoked - almost as in "MES-went-wrong" kind of black. I hope you get a good batch when you order it. Can you return it if you don't like them?

I just had a look at the UK MAC site. The thumbnail pics of the MFS crack me up. LOL.

Aside from the poorly packaged items that were sent in a single jiffy, you may be right.

Yes, of course, you can return anything at Douglas and MAC online and send it back for free. I don't know about Breuninger, I think you have to pay postage if you return something, or maybe beauty products can not be returned at all.

Lol, yes, Pearl looks...interesting amuse.gif

Wow! It's strange how we all experience CS differently, its such a shame as it should be standard. My named day is Wed for delivery, so should be able to post some piccies Wednesday and a little review so you can compare it with other reviews out there :)

^Hehe mine are always packaged with so many layers its like opening a pass the parcel!

I've never had a problem with Debenhams packaging either. Sucks that every order for you has gone wrong. I've got some of the new Bobbi Brown collection in the post from them, hopefully that will be packed well like my other parcels.

I'm still waiting for my confirmation email. I hope I get it today. I always do this and worry with my MAC orders and I was hoping that because it was with Debenhams it would be less worry. I didn't really want to order my two Ever Hips from MAC due to the fiasco I had last time I made an order for two of the same lipstick.

You think so? Or is it already sold out?

its sold out - I thought the 128 or 234 would be the first to go, its not sold out in Debenhams yet :)

I'm going to wait until I can see this stuff in person before I make any final decisions. Normally I'd just order it when it pops up on the website but I'm so unsure with this collection! As of right now I think I'm going to b2m for Gem of Roses and then buy Geo Pink and Blue Sheen. I have to be careful with money right now so hopefully nothing else sucks me in.

Don't forget that Selfridges will be selling MAC too, I haven't checked if it is up there yet but they have postage on top when you order from them.

Ugh! i can't decide on the MSF's I keep going back and forth on Rose Quartz. I can't tell if it is glittery or not. Some one help me. This should not be a major decision. I'm pretty sure I'll be getting pear, and crystal pink too. The people who have seen it what do you think? I feel like reviews have been mixed. th_crazy2.gif I'm clearly a crazy person now. th_crazy.gif

I'm a true mineralize addict and will handpick my goodies on Thursday. No online ordering for me this time.

I've been debating about whether or not I should order online.  You are helping me to lean toward waiting to purchase in-store on Thursday.  The crazy thing is I have to summer off except for a conference I have to attend for work later this week.  I can't get there when they open on Thursday but I'm good for later int he afternoon.  I'm just don't want to stuff to sell out on me and have to run around from store to store.  I hate that.  But last time I ordered mineralize I got one with less veining that everyone likes but I ended up wanting another one with more veining.  I went to the store but the SA said they were all the same (not!). She finally relented and let me look at all of them and I got the one that I wanted.  I just don't know if the SAs will let me pick out the MES I want.  I've also been wondering if the stores are doing pre-orders.  Maybe I can go a day early and pre-order my stuff.  Maybe it would be worth it to go to the Pro store and swatch everything.  I hear some stuff is sold out but they probably still have the testers out.  Decisions, decisions. . .

My go to counter is funny.  I just called to put a couple of things on hold from this collection and the girl (not my regular MA) said that they didn't get much stuff in and they are not putting stuff on hold as much as they have in the past.  She asked me what I'd like to put on hold and she'd let me know if she could do it for me.  I only want two things so I told her Rose Quartz MSF and Smoked Ruby mes.  She was like, "oh, that's it?! and I was like, "yep!"  She said, "I can do that!!!  Some people get greedy and from past collections it's been bad."  She sounded too through and annoyed.  LOL!  I was like whoa!  Are they cracking down now??? I just thought it was funny how she was venting.  So it looks like if you're trying to put more than two of the same item on hold they will not be doing it anymore.

Anyway, I'm getting two things for sure...

rose quartz msf

smoked ruby e/s

I may get Gem of Roses l/s if I like it on myself.  I'm not a fan of the finish, but I like that it's sheer, has color and I can wear it everyday w/o it being so bold as I usually am.  I am in love with cremesheen glasses, but I'm on a lipgloss no buy because I don't use the ones I have much.  And all of the cs glasses I have are LE and I don't want to run out so I wear them sometimes.  And I'm not about to buy back ups at that price and not get much product.  Anyway, that's it for me.  Totally done with this collection.

Haha! Since when should MAC care who actually buys what and how much? I would have thought that they would want to sell everything, why would they complain if someone wanted to buy lots of a collection, surely that means it has gone down well...?

Selfridges don't have the collections up yet, guess they'll put them up on thursday:)

If they are cracking down I wouldn't be mad. I like when everyone can get what they want. People shouldn't have to stress it or refer to ebay for the outrageous high prices.
