I was going to skip this collection, but I ended up ordering 3 things: Gem of Roses, Rose Quartz, and Dark Indulgance.  I am going to see if Dark Indulgance is the complex, smoky green shadow that I have been hunting for.  I was hoping that Armani ETK or the new Chanel Shadows would have a color comparable to this, but I haven't seen one.  Maybe I can get it to work with my water based MAC pro primer that someone was kind enough to give me.

I was going to wait to see this collection in the store, but my grandmother's 90th birthday is this week.  So as you can imagine, my week will be filled with family & grandma related festivities (3 different family get togethers next weekend alone).  I was worried that the products that I became interested in would sell out by next week.

About returning makeup...  I usually keep everything that I purchase. I will, however, return products that cause an allergic reaction with my eyes or skin.  I need to be cautious of most purple eye makeup for this reason. 

Wooohooo. I saw this thread while I was at work on break, and I was terrified things were going to sell out before I could get home to order them. So I got home and ordered Gem Of Roses l/s and Rose Quartz MSF with a gift card my sister had just given me as a belated birthday present. But I was dumb and didn't read this thread first and used the code "TXT" and paid $5 for 2 day shipping. Then I saw that "Precious gave you free two day shipping" So I asked my fiancee pretty please could I borrow some money until I got paid on Thursday, and he said yes.... so I ordered Feeling Flush MB and Dark Indulgence MES and got overnight shipping for $5. Wahhhhooooo!! So excited! 

TXT also still works.  I think, however, "Precious" gives you a better deal.

I just placed my order on maccosmetics.com. I decided on only three things since I want to splurge more on the Fall collections. I bought Gem of Roses, One of a Kind and Hint of Sapphire. I really wanted Musky Amethyst, but the fact that it wasn't more on the purple side swaded me to not get it. There are so many purple lippies & paint pots coming out I will save my money for those.

After seeing Temptalia's dupes for each of the products that I want interested in, I have decided to skip this collection in favor of the Make Me Over fall collection and some Inglot.  I am more excited for those things...  No doubt there are some beautiful things in this collection, and if money was no object, I would surely haul, but I am trying to be more choosy these days.

Which would be a better option? I'm only deciding to get one and I probably won't make another mac order for a while so... Pearl MSF or Soft and Gentle MSF?

When should I be getting my shipping confirmation email? I chose overnight, so I expect it some time maybe early this morning. I probably won't get my items until Wednesday though.

I can't wait to go to my counter! I plan on getting all the MSFs and Gem of Roses and that's all! I mean it's still a lot but way better than my original list, hopefully everything is there when I go!

So true indeed. One of the ma's and I were talking about this recently. She said there were so many people that rushed and bought "My Paradise" without even trying it and it sold out quickly only to have them return it because they said they didn't really like it once they got it home and tried it. She said it made them sick to have to send those back when they had so many other customers come in wanting to purchase it and had to turn them away.

that is just sad. i never thought of it that way. what do they do with the ones that are returned?

With Debenhams, I never actually got a confirmation email, just the generic thank you for your order and then later a dispatch email. I hope that the eyeshadow that is on order with the supplier gets dispatched soon or cancelled and the rest of my order arrives in time so I can find out what one it is and order it elsewhere.

I had actually originally planned on skipping Musky Amethyst albeit loving it - then I saw her swatch. I had to get it. Her swatch also makes me want Lush Amber which I wasn't interested in at all originally.

I didn't order "One of a Kind" but if it's still there when I have the spare cash I'll get both. I got Gem of Roses & Musky Amethyst, which were my must-haves, so I'm happy.

If you received your despatch email from Debenhams you *should* receive your goodies today :) 

I got my despatch email today morning so my goodies should arrive tomorrow! I'm only really excited to try on Geo pink and Gem of roses!

Well my last Debenhams order took 2 days to get here. There is no tracking code in the email unfortunately so I will just have to wait and see. I can't decide whether to order the missing E/S when I find out which one it is and then send the one from Debenhams back if it arrives. Then I'm thinking that would probably be unfair on someone else because the E/S that gets sent back wont get resold, I think.

My Debenhams order which I placed last week came on the second day after I had ordered it also, if you don't get the eyeshadow you wanted or ordered than I would say return it as its not your fault that they made a mistake. Or you can always order the missing eyeshadow from the MAC site, I don't think any have sold out yet :)
