I wonder if there's a colour that would compliment grey eyes? People usually think that I have green eyes, but they are actually dark grey with some orange flecks around the iris.

I compared those two last night, and mine are completely different: In the Sun is entirely yellow (yes, I wanted a 'light' one) and FG orange.

With grey eyes, you have a lot of options.:

I would try light blue/mauve shades, which will make your eyes pop as they complement your orange flecks.

You can also try silver and minty greens (the later one would look great with red hair - not sure what hair color you have).

Well, it is red! Golden copper. Thank you for the suggestions, I will def try them out (I can find them all in my stash). However, they seem to lean more on the cool side and I tend to gravitate on the warm one (NC20)?

I use Golden Gaze all the time - it's my easy one-product smokey eye! :) I still use Rare Find and Clarity quite a lot, and I love my Pearl... I think those were all the products I got from this collection, so I guess I'm still making good use of it! :) I wish I had picked up a Goldstone when I had the chance... :(

I saw Goldstone the last time I was @ a cco about a month ago. If there is a cco or EL store near u may want to call. Also, don't forget the Clearance Bin!

Oh, yes! I'm wearing GG today, and it's such an awesome e/s. It's like lid+crease colour+liner in one! I def should wear it more often (and turn into a smokey eye girl after all).

SP was actually what got me hooked on MAC! I first bought from the company during Venomous Villains (I'm a Disney nut), but didn't really try much of it out until late spring of last year. Loved everything. Then I tried a few perm lipglasses in June, liked them, and then thanks to this board and other places' swatches, the mineralized stuff got me hardcore into makeup and the brand itself.

Golden Gaze and Clarity were my favorite MES from this collection. I used them the most out of the 10 I got from SP, and sadly I lost my Clarity! Hoping it is hiding in my house and not left behind when I went on vacation. I've repeatedly checked my CCO for BUs of both, as well as 3 CCOs in 2 other states, but nada. ohboy.gif

I use Crystal Pink as a blush, and it's probably my favorite piece of makeup ever. I'm hoping that'll show up at my CCO so I can get a BU.

I missed this collection, but did track down some of the brushes this year. I have and love the 234 and 179 brush, but I missed the 235. Maybe I'll get lucky and find that one at a counter/store sometime.

Do I need the 128? How do people use it? I don't wear cream blush, and have the following brushes that I use for blush: 116, 168, 184, 187, 188. I'm still building my brush collection, but I don't want to get the 128 if it really doesn't add anything.

The 128 is amazing for blushes/powders that you want to apply in a brush stroke motion in single stroke. It allows more detailed work that does not (or can't) be blended (e.g. a blush-ey highligher on top of the blush). I use it a few times a week. HTH
