I love PS.  Its severely underrated in this collection and I have no idea why. Its going to be so boss when the weather cools down and I am ready to whip out the navies, and grays.  There really is nothing like it. It has a great texture.

I ordered SNS.  hope i'm happy with it...  I also ordered N 2046.   I need a true red gloss in my life!  If there is still some stock next week, I may look into backing up HP.

that was my number 1 worry with JW, that it would be teal on me. But it actually showed up a true green, and I couldn't be happier! I didn't even use a green base for it.

I also wore Sonoran Rain for the first time beyond testing it at home. I really like it. It seemed stickier to me than other lipglasses, but maybe that's b/c I took a break from lipglasses in general to show love to my other glosses. hmm.gif So, I'm finally done. I got all the glosses except ER and all the shadows except PS.

For those who missed it: If JW is pulling teal on you, use a green base and see how it works. Mufe aqua cream has a green shade and it brings out more green in JW. Oh and reminder: Everyone needs Caqui.

I knew you'd like AMPL!! clap.gif

Thankfully, I don't need a base, either. Yay for us!

girlhaha.gif I'm glad I like it. I really hate wasting 15 bucks. I was stubborn for a long time and jaded by purple in general, but this is one purple I can get behind.

On me JW is highly pigmented, powdery, and dark green.  If I don't use a light hand, this shadow stains my lids (too much pigmentation & too much color payoff).  I have to use it very lightly, or I will be blending it forever to get the right look.  If I overblend this shadow (if that makes any sense) then it can pull a little teal on me - but not much.  But then I like a challenge...

I still love HP & Caqui the most from this collection.  SNS & PS are close runners up to those 2.  Out of the lippies I like AMPL the least simply b/c I am so limited in how & where I can wear it.  If I had darker skin tone, then I would be wearing it all the time.  It sort of, however, gives me goth look which is only ok for some occasions.

I thought I was imagining the staining on my lids. I think this thing is so pigmented, I might be able to go w/o primer. I should try that one day.

No you are not imagining it.  It definately stains my lids & brush as well.  If I apply to much, then I have to blend like crazy.  One time I used it in the crease with a heavy hand, and I ended up masking it with a little concealer after blending.  I was too lazy to restart my eye look from the beginning and that was the only way to tone it down to an acceptable level.

Wow...all the pigment must be in some of the batches.  With my finger or a brush it barely shows up and I am fairly pale.

I got my black box today, and my JW is very smooth and pigmented. I'm quite warm-toned, but it was very green on me, not teal at all.

So sorry to hear that some are having issues with it. :(

I am also pale (NW 20 with a tan LOL), and this shadow is crazy pigmented on me.  You must have gotten one from a bad batch if it barely shows up.

Just like I'm not listening about Caqui cutey.gif I do find PS is a little on the powdery side, so it can go on a bit uneven, but it is a lovely shade and that blue shimmer is really special.

Same here. It kicked up a bit of powder when I first used it, but the colour payoff is unreal. And it usually takes me a few cleanings to completely get it out of my brush.

Got HP today. OMG you guys were not kidding its a stunner, total instant smokey eye! Since the SP mes's are best for smokey eyes I'll be using hp with them a lot this winter. It's unique and gorgeous, amazing job TheMakeupGirl! :)

JW is green on me and I'm NC15, when I wet it the teal comes out more. Mine is super pigmented, and stains my eyes and brush too. Personally I LOVE this shadow. I have the green aquacream that Shontay mentioned and it works so awesome with it, and does bring out the green.

PS is gorg but I havent used it in action yet, any suggestions?

I love PS with Hint of Sapphire.  It is awesome together.  I like using PS on the lower lash line and sometimes it is all I use for liner with Hint of Sapphire.

hmm i shall try that. somehow im finding it hard to love both!

I'm wearing AMPL with Azalea Blossom blush today. It's a pretty combo. greengrin.gif
post #2336 of 2682

A bit late to the game, but I just bought AMPL. :D

I wonder how it would look over the purple lippie coming out with Cindy Sherman's collection...

I totally second this.  JW is fantastic as a lower lashline!  But if you want to love it as a top lid color try Unsurpassable or Jade's Fortune over the top of it......it makes the awesome.

I got Parisian Skies and Jealousy Wakes in the mail today! I love them!!! Both of them have a super soft, buttery texture and they're super easy to blend. JW is such a unique color!! And PS has the greatest undertones for my skintone. Normally, blues are difficult for me to wear, but this one is gorgeous.
