I have Red Devil and Viva Glam Cyndi l/g (my favorites!). Do I still need the red/orange glosses from this collection? They all look nicely pigmented and lovely. What should I do? Hope to see more swatches soon.

Color me not impressed so far. :( Sonoran Rain isn't as unique as I thought it'd be...guess that's a sign I should buy some skincare/primers I've been needing rather than more color. I'll wait until I see swatches on people here before I buy, this collection is supposed to be up for 6 weeks right?

Karen just put up full face swatches of the lip glasses. They look different than Christine's.

I give kudos to all the ladies who spent their time & energy coming up with these amazing colors of lip glosses and shadows.

They are all very very pretty. I'm really liking Parisian Skies, Jealousy Wakes and Hocus Pocus. I'm not a fan of the lip gloss in general so I will be skipping them.

 

I can just imagine what beautiful colors & finishes the ladies would have come up with for lipsticks, eyeliners and blushes.

 

Maybe the next time.

The lip glosses are all so pretty! But I have to be realistic about this and know that I'll only wear the Evolution Revolution because it seems like an everyday color.

 

The swatches Karen put up of the shadows look blah. I need more swatches before I may final decisions. I have to at least want three items if I'm going to purchase online from MAC.

 

EDIT: Just saw Christines swatches and I'm still feeling Hocus Pocus and SNS so I guess thats my three!

YUS for Christine! My lipglass list consists of Sonoran Rain and Caqui. I might get Nitrolicious if the only eyeshadow that appeals to me is Jealousy Wakes. Evolution Revolution is far too sheer and All My Purple Life looks oddly streaky.

AGH NO, Christine's swatches makes all the eyeshadows look beautiful! I can't get all of them, I just spent a large chunk of cash on Lauren Luke's brushes, and I also plan on spending even more on Semi-Precious. What a conundrum...I just asked her if she'll at least do a skin tone recommendation, and that'll narrow it down for me.

After checking out the lastest swatches, things of interest JW , PS eyeshadows &  as far as lipglosses goes AMPL maybe SR.  

 

Looking at the lipglosses im really suprised that 3 out of the 5 lipglosses have a redish orange base to them.  They sorta of look similar when put together.  Too bad they didnt have more variety!!! 

The eyeshadows look so beautiful but I'm limiting myself to Jealousy Wakes and/or Hocus Pocus. I feel like I have something similar to Hocus Pocus so I might have to pass on it. I knocked Parisian Sky off my list because even though I love the color I know it won't get much use.

I agree, I wish there were more varieties between the lipglasses

I need to keep Semi Prescious in mind so I'm only getting Hocus Pocus, Temptalia's swatch sealed the deal for me

pretty swatches and the glosses are all quite pretty. but i do agree that there is not much variety there. but i think all the bloggers did a great job creating their colours.

 Cuz I wouldnt even want to imagine what color I would have come up with if given the chance.. hehehe
 

 

Does anyone know if Christine will make some comparison swatches for this collection? Highly unlikely? Hehe.

 

 

Marcurysmile, I agree, Parisian Sky looks gorgeous, but I don't know if I wear often enough.

 

BeautyByLele, I was thinking the same. The three glosses are all in the red/orange family. They don't look same, but look somehow related. Sisters? Cousins? They're all beautiful though. 

Is anybody still getting NSN? Christine's swatch seems to have less fall-out....

There's enough variation for me in the opacity and the shimmer or lack of. I guess I'm giddy because these are shades that I love. I'm safe for the lipglasses, though because I still only need Caqui and Sonoran Rain. I love that Caqui is opaque and shimmerless while SR is opaque with shimmer for days when I want that. Hot, hot, hot. I don't need anymore colors like Nitrolicious, ER will be a must on me and AMPL, as I've said before is pretty, but I am done with purple. Plus, I would've preferred it if it was opaque instead of semi. Don't get me wrong, I love semi opaque sometimes, but with certain shades either go hard or go home(but not with me).

The shadows are a problem. I want them all . SNS surprised me. I thought it would have major fallout for some reason, but it doesn't seem like it. I have several browns but nothing like that. Hocus Pocus has caught me by surprise. I was going to buy a similar Inglot shade, but I'd much rather have Mac(I just like to have familiar brands in circulation). My problem lies with the other 2: PS is so pretty, but will I really wear it? Even though blue is my favorite color, I hardly ever reach for it, but I do buy them. I think I'll leave it. JW isn't a color I'd normally go for, but I just keep thinking of how Christine paired it with Vex and it blew me away. Plus, it really does seem to be unique. How can I say no to something unique.

I guess having 3 glosses int he same "family" is how they manage to keep some cohesion within the collection? I'm all for it because they look different enough to my eye. It's all a matter of taste, though.

I am ALL over SNS and this is from a girl who is not crazy about brownish shadows.

After seeing the swatches, I'm still not impressed with the glosses but Hocus Pocus and Parisian Skies are lovely.  

After seeing the swatches, I want almost everything.  3 of the glosses are very similiar, but those are colors that I love for summer.

It's still on my list as well.

Temptalia's photos are up yay! I'm loving both JW and PS! I didn't think PS would be something I'd like and then I saw the swatch and I fell in love! And Jealousy Wakes is just so complex! *grabby hands*

So after seeing Christine's swatches...yeah I changed my mind again. >_> Grrr!

 

Hocus Pocus has seriously grabbed my attention, it's like a warm antique pewter grey. I think I'm buying a backup.

 

Jealousy Wakes is certainly pretty, but it's not a shade I'd use on a consistent basis and I can't afford to buy stuff I'm just going to use once in a blue moon. Surf USA is enough blue/green/teal for me.

 

Sparkle Neely Sparkle looks like a worthy recruit into my burgeoning neutral army!

 

Sonoran Rain  is quite pretty on Karen, who again is close to my coloration, so I think I'll grab it. I'm surprised at how red All My Purple Life looks on her, which is making me second guess not buying it.

 

So HP x2, SPS, SR....that's $58. Not bad.

hmm...i guess i'll wait for more comparison swatches of the shadows. at this point if i buy any, it would be more so out of support for the bloggers than out of a desire to have them. PS does look nice though. i'm skipping all of the glosses. just not doing it for me at all now. i do know that i don't want to miss a free shipping code that expires this sunday, but don't want to place multiple orders while waiting for these to show up on the site.

 

i am just totally contradictory and indecisive with this collection. sheesh.

I totally agree, shontay! I love those shades, too! They always look nice on me. They never fail.

hocus pocus and sonoran rain are to die for ^^ really like the gold sheen HP has ... and sonoran rain looks like a strawberry red (I know it's more orange than strawberries)  Parisian Sky is good, I've nothing like it so I'm glad to take it...if I had more money (and I lived in the USA) I'd probably have taken Hocus Pocus home with me ^^ any dupes for it??? :P

I feel the same. JW is very pretty, but it's close enough to Surf USA (even if SUSA is more teal-ish).
