The brushes look cool but it would be indulging. Don't need them. damn o' damn, they look cool BUT NO!!!!!!! I love my money saved for something cooler. :P

oh yah and the bags are horrid. Like walmart overstocked items that sell for a 1.99

I don't even think they are ugly, I just expected something completely different. At least they're not as horrid as the Fabulous Felines ones sick.gif

I don't think the bags are necessarily ugly, but I was expecting something different from this collection. Hey, it's Nordstrom, you know?!

Ugh. I kind of want the brushes just because they are so bright and colorful..... someone convince me I don't need them!  I own the regular 187, a Smashbox foundation brush (that I don't use) and the concealer brush...... accccckkkkk

Exactly!!  Funky would have been great. With the pretty colored brushes I was thinking cool designs on them or splattered like paint, something with color to enhance the colorful brushes. Grey was not what I think of for a colorful summer collection. They look so fall/winter.

i wanted the brush sets but i have the tartan tale brush sets and all the brushes are amazing plus i think the face brushes look tacky and i dont wear eyeshadow.

yayyy more money for SP brushes

Has there been an official date said yet for this collection? I've been wanting to pick up a lip liner for a while I figure I'll get a lip bag and be done with it. I like 3 out of 4 of the bags so I'm gonna need to try them out in the store before I buy.

Hopefully, I can just make one trip to Nordies for both SP and this collection although I have a feeling it's going to be large gap in between them.

I want all three lipsets but the brushes look terrible...

I think the brushes look adorable, but I know that A) I don't really NEED them B) The quality is never as good and C) I shouldn't get suckered in my color.

Amen, I need to print this on a post-it and stick it on my screen to avoid hitting the submit order button when it comes out in a few weeks.

YES! imo it would be weird this plane jane bag then pulling out funky brushes, the bags not bad but they don't go with the brushes in any way shape or form!

Saw the collection at The Bay last thursday. The brushes are cute but pricey and the lip kits look nice. The eyeshadow duos....not a fan of them at all!

Mmm, this collection looks passable :( Especially with MAC me over and Posh Paradise coming!

Im excited about the duos and the smokey eye kits. Will probably get the brown kit and two of the duos. I'm trying to talk myself out of the brush kits as I already have over 30 brushes and don't need them. But they're so darn cute!

The MUA I spoke with yesterday says the eye kits are in a sturdy box, not a plastic compact. There is a mirror though, and there's a barcode on the back that you scan using your smartphone and it will link you to a video tutorial. I think this is an awesome idea!

i was so excited about this collection, but now nothing even gets my attention except maybe the lip bags :(

oh well, at least my wallet will be happy!

Stopped by local Nordies yesterday and took a look at this collex - I decided to pass.

Nothing special or really impressive.

I will save my sheckles for other collections.

i found this collection to be a bit boring to begin with.... now we have all the fall collection info it really is sending me to sleep! hee hee!

This collection is one of those MAC workers have to sell to the public, and not having people fight for the last item.

I'm sure the brushes will sell well. And for the rest of the collection, it will end up at CCOs, like most holiday/nordies/special sets. The duos are a good starter set for MAC beginners though...

Still no pictures of the International exclusive shadows?

I've almost given up on them. Maybe they are not part of the collection at all?

Has anyone had a chance to play with the brushes in this collection?  Are they useful/well made or just gimmicky like the semi precious duo fiber brushes?

Finally we see some swatches. Still not at all interested though.

There are some nice colors and the pigmentation seems to be rather good. Now we just need to learn the rest of the color story, but I'm glad that the international duos are still part of the collection. I want to play around with the colored brushes now pompom.gif The colors of the 227 and the 190 are my favorites.
