Ever since I tried Bare Minerals, I have been hooked. I have very sensitive, combination, acne-prone skin. I am more dry in the winter and more oily in the summer. My t-zone is the worst. The foundation is literally fool-proof and it looks so natural. Depending on the brush, you can opt for light coverage or for more heavier coverage. I like to use their Prime Time primer and apply the foundation, then spot conceal with their concealer brush (using the foundation) the blemishes and acne scars that need more coverage. It is almost like they are "erased" from my face and I am left with an even-looking complexion. The Matte formula does not contain the bismuth oxychloride like their Original formula has; however, a lot of the other BM products (such as Mineral Veil & Warmth) contain bismuth oxychloride. I have never tried the Original formula so I cannot compare it to the Matte, but I absolutely love the Matte. When I use the Mineral Veil (and I only really focus it on my t-zone) I stay matte pretty much all day!
Bare Minerals has also changed their packaging. The jars now have a little turning plastic cover that seals off the opening of the foundation - that way if you are traveling and then open the jar you're not surprised by a mountain of foundation underneath!
