MAC - MAC Me Over Discussion - Page 19

I am all about getting a 226.  I know I want the shadesticks too.  As for the rest, I will have to swatch it and see how I like it.

I've just decided to get the 226 and maybe a fluidline, I'm just not that interested anymore. I don't wear makeup that often to splurging on products that will expire soon will just be wasting my money.

I'm kinda in the same boat. As it gets closer to release date I'm realizing there really isn't much in the upcoming collections I can't easily dupe with what I already have or what's perm at MAC and/or other brands. Being unemployed I'm mostly homebound anyway so I neither use my makeup as much as before nor want to use it in order to preserve its longevity (and thus not have to buy more any time soon).

At this point I'm just picking up a 226 and two of the VP shadows (Mythical and Carbonized).

I will still buy quite a few things - probably more than I want - but I don't see myself going crazy with BU purchases. IMO, MMO is certainly the more exciting collection in comparison with CS, but that's probably due to the fact that half of CS are repromotes or perm items from the Pro collection. But swatches can change the game.

Looking forward to swatches and reviews! Comes out in less than 25 days...I'm hoping Christine gets sent samples early. <_<

my list it's long but something could be cut and some other things could fill in XD

I want a blush, probably equilibriom coz' I need a contouring blush

seaside ccb

2 or 3 fluidlines

prince noir and runaway red

good time lipglass

Mythical eyehadow (need to see swatches, I could also like carbonized!)

226 brush

I hope to dislike both quads because I want to take Angel flame >(if it's good in pigmentation)

I see a lot of things I might want from this collection so I'm excited and can't wait! 

I have more hopes in the MMO quads than the CS ones. I like Angel Flame but the colors already look so washed out that I'm suspicious about the pigmentation. Thus, I'm counting on highly pigmented quads from MMO. They look more rich in the promo pics...

I really like your list!!! Mine has been shortened from what I had originally wanted. I'm considering: Prince Noir, Runaway Red & Offshoot lipsticks. I've decided to not buy the quads, lipglasses pr blush. I really hope I don't like the swatches of these items also. Sometimes you just have to stay within your make-up budget.

Swatches of the two quads are really going to be what determines whether this is an expensive haul or not for me. If I get both, it becomes fairly pricey. If not, I'll be able to get pretty much all I want from the B2M stuff I have.

Yeahhh, most of the time I feel that way, too! Except that I've been having of a heck of a time trying to find alternates to Shadesticks. I just CAN'T. And so... it's starting to look like I'm going to spend a ton on the Shadesticks from MAC Me Over.

All of MAC's promo images seem like they come from one image per product and then the shade is changed in Photoshop to 'match' the description, just like the website swatches are.

OMG, this sounds terrible, but looking at the promo pics, that could be certainly true.

I wish we would start getting swatches to look at. I know we have another four weeks, but... I'm impatient. I truly want to see the Prince Noir lipstick swatches as well as all the lipsticks, shadesticks, shadows, etc. I alread have my mind set to just buy a few of the lipsticks from this collection & nothing else. Need to save for the CS, PP, G&I and GP collections.

My curiousity is slowly churning and I kind-of want to know the Winter collections that will be coming out after the Gareth Pugh collection. Bad me!
