I use only Japanese mascaras (order them form Japan). They are mostly Shiseido's or Kanebo's Japanese brands.

Chanel's Inimitable range comes in brown, which I'd definitely recommend. The "intense" can get dramatic, but even that one can look softer/ more natural, which is sort of what people are going for in a brown mascara, I think.

Tht's true! I can't think of anything particularly awful from MAC in 2012!

I do wonder if those reformulated big bounce shadows will be a disappointment. I hope they are better....sorta.

If they are better it will be a great product and if not, you will save $$$. woohoo

Do we know if the Ruffian collection will be available in Europe? And when? After the latest pic I do want the Naked l/s. And do we know the finishes of the l/s yet? I googled but couldn't find any more info :/ I think Ruffian Red is an Amplified, but I'd like to know about the Naked one.

totally agree! i'm hoping that mac changed the formula.... however i doubt that anything massively different would have changed!

I heard the big bounce shadows were reformulated...but I actually loved the old formula. It only creased if you used too much. That product was designed to work in very thin layers. It never budged on me!

I did not get any of the old Big Bounces because I have very teary eyes. They would have been a complete mess on my lids. I suppose the new ones won't be waterproof either?

I don't think so.

if  you are referring to the ones coming out with illustrated which are currently the nordstom exclusive but will be launched later on this year they are more sponge like rather than liquid. i haven't played with them enough to see how i like them

Sponge like?  Does sound rather like the Chanel Illusion d'Ombre eyeshadows, which I love

Mac can still mess it up. :P The Rimmel version of the original Big Bounce shadows is fantastic, the Mac version... crap. Just sayin'...

Also sounds a bit like the georgio Armani eyes to kill.....

I wouldn't say the Armani ETK shadows were spongy at all.

Yes, this is one of Shiseido's Western mascaras. I used to like one that looks a lot like this but at some point, yeas ago, it was not available and I had to go elsewere and I'm still on the journey looking for a perfect mascara. I've been using one Kanebo KATE mascara a lot, and my latest purchase is Canmake Gokumori Mascara.

BTW the new mascara from MAC (extended play or something) SUCKS BUTT!

I'm gonna return it cos it really is hideous! It doesnt keep curl, its super hard once it dries... its the hardest to remove (even though I think it's not waterproof)

did anybody else try it?
