I got to check out the pressed pigments today.  The texture reminds me of the L'Oreal Infallibles, but they applied more sheerly, though that could have been the result of using the new eye and cheek applicators which are supposedly meant to work with these - wasn't crazy about them personally, but I can see how they could be useful.  There were two that I wanted right off (Deeply Dashing and Beaming), and possibly a third (Day Gleam), but the other three I could do without.

 

My swatch pics didn't really turn out very well, so not going to post them as swatches were too light/sheer.  I need to go back and get better swatches.

I saw that on Tumblr earlier and the color looks amazing and I totally dig Azealia so I'm super stoked for this lipstick,

Hope that new lippy isnt TOO dark. And don't get me wrong I like mattes. Some are just difficult on me. So it's nice to see a non-matte.

I agree, mattes are a little too drying and dark colors don't suit me ssad.gif Although the Azealia Banks lippie is super pretty, i know it will look too dark on me which is a bummer because she's so cool smiles.gif

I love Azealia Banks but I couldn't pull off that colour - kind of glad it's US only as I wouldn't be tempted to buy for the sake of it!

I only have the one, but when I bought it last fall, I definitely wasn't as daring with lipsticks and I didn't own any lip pencils. I was pretty new to MAC overall, so the MMO lipsticks were the first handful that I had, besides Sweetie. I'm going to give PN another go this fall, since it's vampy season and I have quite a few lip pencils now. I feel a little more comfortable wearing lipsticks that aren't MLBB or mauvey shades lol.

They're very explicit (to say the least) so be warned!!

 

She's 21, from NY and has worked with Thierry Mugler and Rankin so I guess those are her links to Fashion's Night Out!
