Chanel Spring 2012 collection

Thread Starter

It is only early October, the Holiday stuff is about to hit the counters and we are having first sneek-peaks at what Chanel has prepared to empty our wallets in Spring (meaning late December in makeup language) cheerleader.gif

3 Spring nail polishes are called April, May and June, such cute names ane looks like the peach/orange June will be a IT color.

Found this info on Messy Wands blog.

Can't wait!

More info and a pic here at Lisa Eldridge. They look "whiter" than the one on messywands. The orange is actually apricot!

As a May baby I'll of course have to pick up May as my first Chanel np. heart.gif

Cafe Makeup posted about this the other day, and noted a L'Horizon de Chanel blush...which I think may be this posted by babyjap at Pink Thought Bubble. If so, then....meh. I'll pass. I was hoping for some new JCs. :(

I'd be surprised if another highlighter wasn't released with this.

I would be happy to FF thru Winter personally!

I just love those soft, pale looks! They scream whisper "spring" to me. I totally agree that "June" is likely to be the next "mimosa". I'm a little leery, because I can't picture that colour working well on me... I guess I won't know unless I try.

I just watched that video again with peter philips - That Horizons blush is BEAUTIFUL!

is it ever.. just abnormally gorgeous.  I am holding out for this one.

I agree - I need Spring & Summer...again. I am freezing today.

Oh my...look at May np drools.gif I feel like I missed some of the pics the first time.

getting a bag of pearls & skin glue lol.gif

^^ I have been freezing, too.  Winter = blah (and it's not even technically winter yet).   I wanted to get April since that is my birthday month -- looks like a pretty plum berry shade.  I love the pink May shade the most.

And I agree, we should all go around with pearls on our skin and in our hair heart.gif

What beautiful colors and photographs - I'm in for the blush, and possibly May and June np - so pretty!!

We could already do the eyes.smiles.gif I wonder what the RC Baumes will be like?

Here it says they (?) will be available in January:

^^ Yup. I tried to do the eyes last Saturday. I don't have Emerville, so I used the pink shade in the ombres quint, and it was too pink and didn't look nice. But overall, it was a fresh, glowy look, quite different from how I usually put a darker shade at my outer lids/crease.

I tried it with the white from the quint and it looked nice, less sparkly but very luminous.

the baumes are a new take on the RCshines.. just not quite as shiny... at least these are what were used last month.

I am bummed, according to lachanelphile the white polish is only for the runway. It is the only spring polish that I wanted.

What did you use for Emerville? I have Fantasme, and it is sparkly gorgeousness. There is fallouts with the usual primer, but when I use the Too Faced glitter glue there wasn't any fallouts.
