Kimbunny that sucks.  I've moved on to Hey sailor and other stuff in my collex.  I'm going to try them out this week, and see b/c I really don't remember.  It took me a while to see that MES bothered me. 

I meant to respond a hell of a lot sooner, but forgot.  I wanted you to know that I love, love, love Young Venus!!  I'm so glad that I got it!  It looks great with Rich Core and Grand Galaxy.  

 

I have 3 furry and feline true loves, too!  4 if you count The Man.  :) 

OMG Lilinah r u kidding me about this? I sometimes think my cats chubby legs would make a great MU brush.

Glad u love ur YV & cats too. Dog people just don't understand the cat & human connection. I grew up with dogs but the tides turned when a dog my parents & I adopted & had for over 12 years bit me. It was so scary, that I have dog anxiety. It's gotten better but when a 130 LB dog comes after you, you don't quite subscribe to dog love the same way.

I've got a few of the ED ES that I have yet to play with. So much MU, so little time. R there are any combos that u've tried with ur YV that u love? I haven't had good luck with YV.

at my local mac, the girls call the 227 brush 'the kitten paw'....it's so soft and fluffy!

Now that I look at Nova's paws, which I love for their cute size and shape, it does remind me of the 227 brush!

That is too funny (but sad) because I just got the 227 recently & it totally looked like the kitty's paw we just fostered. 2 months ago, my hubs & I brought home a cat from the shelter. We instantly became attached because he loved to be around us, was very vocal, intelligent & needy. He was what I call a 'lap cat'. We wanted to keep him but he VERY aggressively bit me on multiple occasions, not just one bite but would bite & then come back to finish me off. It was so weird, like a switch flipped, because he was sooooo affectionate with both of us from the get go. We did everything short of medicating him to get him to stop, but it got worse & he's older so he wasn't going to grow out of it. About 2 weeks ago he went ape shit and for no reason & not playing, attacked my older firstborn baby. It was horrible. At that point, I knew could never compromise the health, wellness & sweetness of my Perisan. On Monday he went to his new home & I've cried a lot. I have to tell myself that he may have never had a chance if weren't for us taking him in.

The man that took him must have been freaked out because I had put on a full face of make up on & by the time I got to drop kitty off I had a combo of mascara, Undercurrent & Petrol EL & 2 lbs. of eyeshadow runnng down my face.

(very) Long story short is that the 227 looks so much like the cat's foot is I put it on my hubby's chest & he immediately said "Squeaky's paw".

I love my 227 brush!

I miss him so much. Not going to cry. Not going to cry.

I've worn Dark Dare twice this week.  Why have I ignored this shade?  I wore it in the outer V with Cloudy Day one day and Clarity the other.  I've really been ignoring my Extra Dimension shadows.  I must work them back into rotation.

I finally got my hands on Glorify and Whisper of guilt, can't wait to try them!

I need to use my ED e/s again sometime! I too been ignoring them and need to use them! I almost bought Dare Dark and  Havana the other day but I will hold out on them until I decidet to buy them.

I love the products I got from this collection. glorify and grand galaxy. . I can't get enought of them!

Immortal flower and WOG have been my two most used products since I received them.

How do you get the eyeshadows to show up super bright? ( not so sheer)

I used Young Venus on the lid, Tease with Ease in the crease, dazzlelight on the brow, and dark dare on the outer V for my eyes today.  I used Crew as a blush layered on top of Superb.  Loved the look.

I think I want to try layering a matte blush over the more glimmery Glorify...good idea!

You'll have to let me know what blush you do this with and the results.

I have been so excited for HC that I have been neglecting my extra dimension eyeshadows... I forgot how much I love them =) Anyone else just love these eyeshadows?? What are some good combos to go with sweet heat.  I have been using sweet heat w/rich core in crease. I need some new ideas???

I've been so neglectful on these shadows. I've swatched them several times, have said "Oooh pretty", but have not worn them yet!!! Ahhh! Too much make up!

Me too! I haven't even used Lunar. I get the most use out of Havana and Young Venus, though. The others I've used maybe once or twice. Ahhh. Must use them!

 

I've been using Young Venus with Havana or browns and grays, it's a good neutral every day eyeshadow for me! Grand Galaxy I wore last week with a couple of shadows from one of the Shady Lady palettes!

So I had a nasty makeup accident.  I dropped one of my draws,  Satin taupe was destroyed, tweet me  chipped, spectacle of yourself shattered, and is just about ruined.  AND the color I grew to LOVE, Havana, has completely separated off of the grid thing it was attached to.  ~weeps~  if you all find these, please let me know.  (same with peacocky)

 

So sorry.  I hate when that happens.  It's like slow motion and fast motion all at once.  

 

There's a slight chance my Pro store might still have Havana.  I'll call my SA tomorrow and check.  If not, then I can part with my backup. My local CCO might still have Spectacle of Yourself, so I can check with them also.

CCO has peacocky!

I've seen Peacocky in my CCO as well, but if you don't have one near you allcosmeticswholesale.com has both those shades for $15.99.  I've ordered from them several times - they're authentic.
