I used Young Venus on the lid, Tease with Ease in the crease, dazzlelight on the brow, and dark dare on the outer V for my eyes today.  I really like how it came out.  You can also use Grand Galaxy in the crease, which I've done, too.

There's a slight chance my Pro store might still have Havana.  I'll call my SA tomorrow and check.  If not, then I can part with my backup. My local CCO might still have Spectacle of Yourself, so I can check with them also.

OMG, that is so sweet of you.  I don't want to take your backup, but if you find it let me know.

Ladies, thanks for your sympathy.  I know it's just makeup, but I love our little group.

Allcosmeticswholesale.com has Tweet Me and Spectacle of Yourself available if you want new ones. I could get Havana for you, but it's €19.50 here.

You're in luck! My Pro store has two Havana left so I asked to have both set aside for me just in case. Let me know if you want one or both, and whether you want to contact the store directly and have them ship it to you, or I can pick it up and ship it to you for less than their standard shipping charge.

I will definitely buy the other one if you don't.  Let me know since I can't find Havana anywhere.  :(

Sure thing. I want to give PrettyPackages an opportunity to respond. If she doesn't want one, let me know if you want both. I already have a backup of Havana so won't need to get one for myself.

Thanks to an awesome trade with fellow Spektrette maneater, I got my hands on Superb EDSF. It's gorgeous!!! So happy I was able to get it. th_happy1.gif

Superb will look amazing on your skin tone CartoonChic.

I'm sort of sickly obsessed with Whisper of Guilt. I'm curious has anyone tried to depot these products yet. I love to throw them into a Z-palette but I'm also afraid of mucking them up being LE.

Thanks! I never owned a skinfinish or highlighting product before, so I skipped them when they first came out. I didn't know how to use them or understand their purpose at the time. But I was at a MAC counter and the MUA had this beautiful glow on her cheeks. I asked her what it was, and of course she said Superb. She explained how to use it, but told me they were sold out. I've been wanting and searching for one ever since. I'm so happy I got hold of it.

I'm too afraid to depot it. I'd rather keep it nice and safe in its own pot. Plus I wouldn't want it to get "contaminated" with powder residue from other products. It's too precious!

I've used either the 239 or 242 brush - while I don't pack it on the brush since a little goes a long way for me, I still make sure I tap off the excess and then pat it on my lid.  I haven't had any problem with fallout this way.

I'll try that!

Code:

I wore Rich Core today for the first time since I bought it (for sure I have too much makeup!), over Hyperviolet paint pot and with a little Jaunty on the inner eye....GORGEOUS!

I love Grand Galaxy over almost ANY color paint pot (also great just over TFSI), and with Modern Pewter, Prance, or Vex on inner 1/3, I think I need to try it over Half Wild paint Pot soon....

I have been finding Havana to be REALLY versatile, and looks good as a crease color with almost any look. It really melts into the skin to add depth! Same with Dark Dare, especially with cool toned looks.

I think I'm the only one who didn't like Young Venus..... Too sheer, and I thought it would be brighter and shinier. I prefer Fresh Ice and Mineral Mode.

I love my ED goodies!

Did you try Young Venus with Lets Skate paint pot underneath? That worked well for me..

What I have tried and had moderate success with is using Fix to apply them wet/foiled.  I hear Visine works just as well as fix.  I have read using either a Big Bounce e/s from teh MAC collection or using Fyriannae pixie epoxy primer both work as well if you have either of those.  HTH

I've been using sweet heat with faux gold mes wet over it! Its neutral with a sparkly kick!

I had the worst time getting used to Havana. On me I got a great combo with it on the lid and saddle in the crease.  Next I'm going to try oomph and tweet me with it.

How are you guys using the skin finishes? Do you apply them using a brush? I find that they don't show up easily when applied with a brush. Help!

I use my beloved 188... or even fingers (although I know it's wrong, can ruin the product but it's so easy!) The final effect is dainty anyway.. but lovely IMO!

It helps to have a stiff brush.  Too soft of a bristle and not enough color payoff IMHO.

If I use Grand Galaxy as a lid color, what would go good as a crease?

i use the slanted, split fiber kabuki brush from Semi-Precious and they look stunning that way! heart2.gif

Nunu, I apply the EDSFs with the 128 brush and buff it out with the 179 brush.

I use the 189 or the 165.  Both of these brushes were promoted as useful for applying MSFs.  Surprisingly, to my knowledge, they have not been repromoted.  Is Mac pushing any particular brush for MSFs now?  Although both are discontinued, I will give my take on them anyway.  Both pick up product pretty well but the 189 picks up the most color out of the two.  In fact sometimes I have to be careful not to overdo it with the 189.
