Hmmmm when i first heard reel i thought fishing like the Lure collection? But now i'm thinking film reel! Maybe we will get that old Hollywood collection eventually?

Looks like this spring will be filled with bright lips. I'm 100% fine with this fluffy.gif

 

The color featured in the promo photo is extra-gorgeous too.....looks similar to Toxic Tale, but a little springier.

I'm glad, considering TT was in such short supply I never backed it up. My store only got 6 in and they were pretty much all spoken for in advance by the MAs, other than my tube which they hid away under lock and key so I'd get it - it was a real inside job. I did well to even get one, lol. Mine's been in the rationing stage of late.

I have it, but never wore it since I got it. I feel I look hideous with it, LOL. It just looks red on me, and I don't wear reds at all.

If you missed out on it the first time, or maybe if you're like me and used it a ton and are ready for another tube of it or of something very similar.

 

Toxic Tale's certainly one of those colors that won't work as a regular use color for a lot of people, but when it clicks and looks just right, it's the sort of thing you could get a lot of use out of and need the next version as a replacement (like me). Hey, if it's in the MAC's new matte formula or that excellent satin finish Fervent has, it'd be worth it to get, even if you're not a heavy Toxic Tale user, considering that was an old heavy satin and pretty drying.

Geez, with all the different lip products that are coming out with SSS/CCC, I don't know how I'm going to survive if there are even MORE bright lippies in this collection. (I'd use the fainting emoticon if I could find it. XD)

I don't mind shades like that, I love bright pinks or oranges, just don't like reds. TT isn't the pink toned bright coral that I expexted it to be from seeing swatches, at least it doesn't look like that on me. It pulls more red on me I guess. If there is a similar l/s in this collex, but leaning more pink or orange/peach, I would buy it.

Yes, it definitely seemed like one of those colors that would read very differently on different skins and go from being fabulous on one person to boring and drab on another. The color in the promo pic here seems like it's got more of a pink cast than TT, but not so much that it reads pink. Maybe this one will work out for you really well!

I keep looking at the promo pic and yeah that particular lipstick will be a skip for me. Heck Hibiscus is too bright on me, I think this one will not be much different. Guess we'll see though.

LOVE the name!  LOVE the Promo shot!  It looks to be an orangy-red.  I just discovered I like these... A LOT!  And am uber pumped for Iris with all the bright lippies.  Hibiscus turned out to be BU worthy for me, and I've been hunting ever since for MORE perfect bright lippies!  Dior has a great one in their Holiday collection that I wore every day for a week... EVEN with a tshirt & jeans.  I'll be keeping an eye (and lip) on this collection!

It's odd....Hibiscus didn't look bright on me. It was kind of subdued. Toxic Tale, on the other hand = eye-poppingly bright heart.gif Did you try out Exxxhibitionist Kissable Lip Colour from Peacocky? I bet that would look cute without being too glaring on you! I can't be 100% sure, but from the Shop Shop Shop promo pic, it looks like that one might be one of the Kissables they're bringing back.
