Monster High Fashion Dolls - Page 12

Oow gosh! I am just drooling over these pictures...! I want them all!!

I live in the Netherlands and we are so behind... so so so so so behind, it makes me want to cry!

I mostly get my MH dolls from germany... There they are a little less behind... Haha

I am currently waiting for Venus Mcflytrap, Rochelle Goyle and Rebecca Steam to come in stores in germany. Ive seen Jackson jekyll but so far no good on the others...

It's so sad that the my country is so far behind. The people off the toy store here probably thinks ohh god there that girl again looking for new monster high dolls! Crazy..!!

I just can't help myself, I Love them!!

I know what you mean! We have 2 toy stores overhere and the bigest stock of MH dolls they ever had were the basic dolls, now they get only one or two dolls, randomly :(

I got lucky and found  a Jackson about two weeks ago and I managed to get my hands on a second Abbey and Spectra....  plus I  spotted a Rochelle last weekend and both monster lab add on packs wich I snatched :P well not Rochelle since I already got 2 when shopping in Germany.

I am kinda amazed that they had the add on packs overehere but not the design lab O_o

Fortunatly a toychamp opened up overhere and they have a large stock of MH dolls, like Operetta, Toralei, Nef etc (although when I last visited, the stock had slimmed down allot!) and accesories, no fashion packs though :(

I was able to finally get a rereleased Basic Spectra, SO Clawdeen, and SO Frankie from a local Walmart! It had an explosive side wall going on! I got a non-exclusive Cupid as well!

Big Monster High fan and collector here! You seem to have one of the best info blogs on MH and upcoming MH. Been lurking for a bit but recently joined and subscribed!
LOVE Venus, cannot wait until I can find her in stores! Was also pysched when you found out that the Scaris Ghoulia, Ula, Duece and Abbey weren't a packaged deal and $12 separately. My bank account takes a huge sigh of relief haha!

 Thank you so much! I wish I could say I could take credit for what I post, but there are thousands of people out there with connections and sources. I just catch what's out there (with permission) and throw it up here! But if I can give the straight scoop and get a thumb up or two it was worth it.

So this ass is a scalper and decided to gloat about buying up Venus and Robecca dolls around their area!

This is why you don't buy from freaking Ebay  on "pre-orders" or Craigslist and you need to write corporations a letter to limit the purchase of these dolls!

 

As trinlayk said on this flickr posting:

"The place to fight this isn't at Ebay. Except in that passing word around to NEVER go for the obscene Buy it nows, and to limit bidding to maybe $5 over the store price or RIGHT AT store price. If no one will pay the crazy BIN the scalpers will hopefully return them and stop the practice... this also has to be spread across ALL fandoms for ALL toys. (it affects more then than just the MH fans)

One way to fight this is to get a LETTER campaign going, actual HANDWRITTEN letters, sent through the USPS (yes costing stamps) sent to the Corporate HQs of the store that sell them like this.... (Can we use your photo?) Because if TRU / Walmart / Target etc will sell them One of a Kind per Customer, on the new hot releases, or even UP to 3 of a kind to a customer after things have been out for a little while, (or some other reasonable limit) : this sort of hoarding wouldn't be possible, or would require MUCH more work / driving around / paying for helpers to stand in line to buy their max allowed etc. I know that at least locally, at least some of the TRU have cracked down on the people on staff taking things out of circulation before they even get on the shelves to sell on Ebay.... but it's not all stores throughout the whole area."

How sick can you get I mean scalpers just don't think these toys are for kids and adults so imagin that a wee (sorry I am Scottish so we means wee) girl walkes in to toys r us to get Venus and robecca with saved up pokey money and as she enters she sees a man with a trolley full of Venus and robecca's she walks up to the MH ale and no Venus no robecca just empty. Anywho...Anyone looking for school supplies?

 

This afternoon I wandered around Target, Toys R Us, Office Max, and Claires. The most fruitful finds were at Officemax of course!

 

Officemax had composition journals and spiral journals for $3 and three ring folders for $1.

Toys R Us had this pencil pouch for $4.99 and had a bogo promo on pouches and journals.

And a buy a backpack get a lunchbox free deal.

Claires had an eraseboard for $5.50, stationary set for too much ($12.25), journal and good looking blk/white neon zipper pouch that matches a backpack and lunchbox else found at Target and TRU.

I innocently walked into a Target for a few items and I am still in disbelief to what I saw! Clawdeen and Howleen 2 pack on the shelf and as if that wasn't enough, 1st wave original Draculara!! I grabbed them both, they only had one of each!!! I was so excited, its like Christmas in July! In addition, Dracularas car on clearance for $11.48 and the shelves we're fully stocked so I got one for each daughter for Christmas! Score!.....

I guess I let my curiosity get the better of me and I noticed they had the sku and pricetag for a classroom doll so I asked the young man to check the back and low and behold he walks out with 4 boxes of dolls! I couldn't believe he let me look through each box. Today, I finally got an Abbey, Cupid and Spectra too! I was floored! Sure, I had a little explaining to do to my hubby when I got home but he was happy for me and now I can stop stalking those dolls online for areasonable price. It was an awesome MH day- I am still freaking out about the Clawdeen/Howleen 2 pack! I would get to Target quickly, this just happened tonight. In the cases of dolls, they also had Rochelle Goyle, Jackson Jeckyll and 2nd waive Clawdeen and Frankie! Happy Shopping! eyelove.gif

That Frankie007 is awesome! So the classroom doll skus may read up for the assorted dolls now, hmmm.

And lucky find with the Wolf Sisters!

 

Today someone thought they were clever and thought they'd hide two wolf sisters packs behind seven or so Gloom Beach 5 Packs turned on their backs and stacked up one upon the other.

I wish I could have left a note saying "NO GO SCALPER."

Luckily was able to hold them for ghouls friends to pick up later today!

Hiding dolls doesn't necessarily make you a scalper. They might just not have had the money for them that day and hid them until they could get it. I do that sometimes (I did that with the Cat/Witch CAM kit I saw at Target one day.) I had no money on me (as usual) so I hid the pack being some Barbies until I got my paycheck. I'm not saying you shouldn't have bought them, because I would have too haha, but I'm just saying don't assume they're up to no good just because they were hidden. I look for hidden dolls all the time. My boyfriend does too, now :)

He actually told me the classroom sku was discontinued but he would check in the back and that's when he walked out with the Motherload. I was just so lucky to get an attentive rep. To think, all the times I kept walking by just to see all the 1600 and gloom beach assortment never getting anyone to help or check the back. Nothing against the 1600 or Gloom beach, I just already have them and I honestly was beginning to think Abbey was an urban legend. I have the dead tired abbey and Skull Shores but never could find the original Abbey. Targets are also fully stocked with Operetta, Abey, Clawdeen and Frankie outfits. My girls were thrilled with the new outfits tonight. And have already given their Frankie and Lagoona new looks. I cant wait to get the Clawdeen Roller Derby! Thanks for the pic.

True. And I have wondered about doing the same, hiding dolls. And I also look for hidden dolls. But you never know, for me it hits a certain cord at my particular Target. Hope you understand.
