I still have my old mascaras somewhere since I wanted to keep them to just look at the colours later, but I don't remember where!
ah the 80's colored mascara! i had a bright red one from some small co. that was so incredible - i still miss it. also in the 90's, there was this sort of rave-esque brand that made a hot pink with a purple opalescent sheen - that one didn't show up that well, but it sure was awesome looking if you got it to work.
I did love last year's Wonder Woman colored Opulashes - they showed their color really well on my black lashes and people would comment on them all the time (actually, men would comment even more than women, so I figure they really must have showed their color, because let's face it- most guys would never notice makeup at all in the first place!) I like the Opulash formula and brush a lot, just in general, so I backed those babies up!
I'm not a big ZoomLash fan, but I also loved that grey one from last year - it makes green eyes look beautiful. I did get the purple and plum ones from this collection, although i'm going to wait to break into them until closer to the end of summer. I think when it comes to colored mascara, we have expectations of seeing the color very clearly on our own faces, but the color is usually more obvious to other people than it ever is to us - so that's the paradox. It's like when you think a pair of jeans makes your ass look fat, when meanwhile every guy is salivating like a hound......
