The lighter one is NC/NW15 and has a translucent quality. Unless you are much lighter than NC/NW15, you should be fine. I love the Sheer Mystery as a setting powder as it does not cake up at all.

I WANT THAT BRUSH THE MORE AND MORE I SEE IT!!!!!!!

I think the "giving credit" situation should be addressed as the person posting the images asks it to be. Period! If one person doesn't care if someone takes an image and uses it, fine. But if someone (in this case Mac-Guy) specifically gives instructions on how he'd like his images and reviews used, that should be followed by the letter. I am MORE than grateful for the time & effort that is taken on such a task... Swatching, photographing in the proper lighting, giving detailed reviews and recommendations, etc. If you enjoy his images and reviews so much that you want to share them... That is wonderful! However, RESPECT the wishes of the individual who invested so much time that you would want to use them in the first place!

Mac-Guy... It would be crushing to all the users here if you got so frustrated with this situation that you no longer wanted to share your photos and reviews. Your opinions and guidance mean a great deal to me as a consumer. I value your skills and effort immensely! Please be reminded how helpful you are. Despite the occasional inconsideration of others, we would miss your contributions here greatly if you decided to allow them to affect how much you are appreciated here!

I haven't read through the whole thread, so sorry if this has already been answered.

The chrome finish is metal (or felt like it, at least).  The packaging of the mystery powders are magnetic, so it definitely isn't plastic.

Also, I'm SHOCKED people want the 187 brush?!?! It's to die for, but so is the price O_O.  Same with the expen$ive brush clutch.  But I guess price doesn't matter once you're hooked lol

It's plastic with a chrome coating similar to the Diana Ross collection, but in silvery white packaging. It is not a metal case as the GP compact.

Thank you, guys. Your support and encouragement means a lot to me.

I decided not to dwell on the situation anymore and I hope that members of the beautyjunkies.de forum will respect that I swatch exclusively for Specktra. If you want to read and see my swatches, they are welcome to do this on Specktra-only. I sincerely hope that this was the last time that they disrespected a member of an online community.

Having said that, let's move on and enjoy the genius designs of MW2.

mmm good to know!  It had a good weight to it and the magnetic quality had me fooled!

It's similar heavy (or light) as the original MW compact. I'd that it's handbag friendly if you want to carry it around with you.

In contrast, the Air of Style concentrate felt heavy! It's definitely would weight you down if you put it around your neck in a hunchback-of-Notre-Dame kind of way, LOL. Put it looks gorgeous on a vanity.

It was surprisingly heavy!! Maybe that's what I'm remembering as being heavy.

How did you like the scent?  I wasn't a fan.

For me, it was a bit too flowery, though a lot of people seem to like it. Personally, I am more after the design. I really like MW's design in general - not just MAC-related.

Wasn't one of the previous couture collection a Harrod's exclusive? It might have been Baroque Boudoir, though I'm not sure if it was a Harrod's exclusive first and then was sold at f/s stores at a later stage. Hope you find out soon.

Grrrr, every time I think of the BB collection I get so mad that there were no brushes in that collection. They would have been so pretty!

Exactly my thoughts.

I would so much love to get the Sheer Mystery Powder because the compact is super pretty!

But I am a little worried that it might be too dark for me ....

Must....have.....brush....and.....others....ACK!

LOL I already have a 187 but that one is sooooo pretty I may just splurge.  Can't hurt to have another, right?

I can't remember if it was this thread where it was mentioned that it's not B2M eligible.  When I checked the lippies today from the collection that are being held for me, the packaging said B2M on it, so they are eligible.

In case anyone wanted to know.

When a packaging says B2M doesnt mean you can necessarily back to mac for it. It means you can give it in as part of one of the 6 items u need to back to mac
