Is Felicienne lipstick anything like Soft Sable? It kind of looks similar to me.

In case anybody wonders, MW2 l/s contain 4.3 g whereas regular l/s contain 3 g. So yes, the price is higher, but you are also getting more product (on top of the gorgeous design).

wow, interesting! its actually more product right? because they are regular formulas not something different that makes them heavy.

If I remember correctly, the original MW l/s also contained more product. Same goes for the powders. Yes, it comes at 60 bucks, but you'll get a refill (albeit it is slighly smaller than the regular powders).

My point is that MW2 (or the original) are not significantly more expensive than regular packaging. As a professional artist myself, I highly value people who can actually make a living from doing what they love to do. Art and design come at a certain price, and given the length of training and education that most artists endure before they become successful (which is only a small percentage of all the people who enter the arts), I am more than happy to pay a few dollars extra as I appreciate and value the design of the product. I do not think that the items of this collection are overpriced, though I recognize that not everybody can afford it. $80 is certainly a steep price, but to me it is not only a brush, but also a piece of art that I enjoy admiring it in a similar way as I value other design objects.

MAC Guy you are making this brush hard to resist.

OMG Seeing that brush has me rethinking.  I LOVE it.....and I have a birthday coming up!  :D

As much as I love the brush and the compact. I just dont see it in the cards for me right now. Unless I win a lottery. 60$-80$ is a lot to spend on one item for this poor chica lol Hopefully they will stick around for a while.

Love your watermark mac-guy. Show those people some manners! getyou.gif

The watermark is a good idea but maybe you should put it so that it's partially over the item or swatch since people could just crop it out.

Mac Guy... you are a GOD again, providing pictures of that brush... CANT WAIT TO GET IT!!

I always grab limited edition brushes, more of a collectors item. I do use them but I do agree with you that I tend to sit back and admire them for the beautiful tool that they are and feel so glamourous the days that I do use them. Like my LE GP Buffer... I always feel extra special those days, especialy when it buffs Elude

Allura beauty just posted swatches of the lipsticks. http://www.allurabeauty.com/2012/review-swatches-mac-marcel-wanders-lipsticks/

Temptalia has just posted the lipstick swatches: http://www.temptalia.com/mac-marcel-wanders-2-lipsticks-review-photos-swatches

I actually really like Inez, although I didn't think I would. Might just pick that one up, despite the price.

Oh dear Inez is divine and it will be mine!

The finish of all four lippies is divine. I'm surprised that MAC called these frost as they are so different from the typical MAC frost finish.

I wasn't even considering getting anything from this collection, but if Inez Lipstick really looks like the swatches Temptalia posted, OMG!  Anybody else who has seen the lipstick, does it really look that gorgeous??

Does Felicienne have a silver frost finish?  If so, I am gonna pull the trigger on it.  The others look too metallic except Inez, but I don't want another golden plum color.  The special packaging is really calling me, I wish these lipsticks were not so metallic, but I guess it is the theme of the collection so I can't complain too much!  Esp. since it means I could skip the rest of the lippies and ALMOST have enough left over to afford a brush!

Inez looks great and I am really tempted, but just today I got a lipstick that looks much much much darker on me than on T and I feel like I can not use her swatches for me.
So Inez, I am really sorry, but I am sure you look great. Maybe once I see some other peoples swatches.

Lol, you're funny. :)

Allura posted the swatches too and her pictures are a lot darker and I'm not that crazy about Inez in her pictures. Hmm.

She also has swatches of the glosses: www.allurabeauty.com/2012/review-swatches-mac-marcel-wanders-lipglasses I like Kim.

I'll be passing on the lipsticks.  I hate frosty lipsticks on me!!!  More $$ for Reel Sexy!

I tried, but the lipsticks and glosses from this collection aren't for me. That's okay, seeing as I am not done hauling Shop/Cook and I need Reel Sexy money too.

It really depends how the light hits it, but it's a gorgeous finish. I'm not a fan of MAC's frost finish, but the MW2 formula is very different.  These are very wearable everyday shades, especially if you pad down the l/s and apply an extra layer only in the center. It gives an awesome 3D effect. If you can, try it out in store to make the right decision.

Ok I wasn't going to get much, if anything from this collection but I'm loving the lipsticks!

Mac-Guy (or anyone that has played with the products):
How does Whirls & Twirls compare to Felicienne?
W&T is my HG ssad.gif I am always looking for similar colors. I only got one tube of it and I won't use it because I don't want it to leave me (abandonment issues? Lol)

I think I also want Inez.. And maybe the mystery powder... What is the mystery powder really used for? I suppose $60 isn't bad considering the refill and the lovely compact.

The glosses are a skip for me. I seriously own so many after Glitter & Ice.
