I am REALLY liking the brush clutch in this collection, can someone please talk some sense to me? On one hand, it looks gorgeous...on the other....it's white...that plus makeup might spell disaster...am I right? Does anyone already have it? Any opinions?

The fabric is highly textured and more grey than white, though it is certainly still in the lighter range of colors. I would assume that it is less likely to attract make up stains than a light leather/faux leather make up bag or brush bag as the fabric is so textured. If you intend to use it to store clean brushes, you will be fine. But if you tend to spill your make up all over the place, it might not be the best choice. It's a very elegant clutch, so I don't blame you for being attracted to it. If you like it, I'd say go for it, as it is certainly a very attractive design object that is also very practical.

Nope. To store all my brushes, I would need an undetermined number of clutches, hahaha.

I got the GP bag though, which seems more of an appropriate attire of guys. :)  I still like the style of the MW2 clutch, but it's not "me."

True true..with that kind of a clutch I doubt I would throw makeup in it...at least it would be contained in a way that I wouldn't have any spills. Its gorgeous...no doubt..

I haven't been able to see any real reviews or close up pics of it..other than the MAC website.

Sorry, I didn't take pictures of it. But it's high quality with a sturdy frame that should keep brushes safe.

I am too! flower.gif

I just got back from Mac, and the collection was as great in person as I expected it to be. I got:

Annelie l/s- This one reminds me a lot of one of my favorite Mac lippies, Tanarama. It is a gorgeous frosty pale nude with great depth. It looks especially beautiful when the light hits it in the sun!

Inez l/s- I would describe this as a purple berry color (think Dish It Up) with intense gold pearl. It is barely frosty, which would appeal to a lot of people. Gorgeous.

Jana l/g- I really like the texture! And the color is very versatile.

Karin l/g- The MUA initially told me this was sold out, but there was one unopened on display so I said it was alright if I was given that one. For some reason this one is much tackier than Jana, and stings my lips (much like the kissable lipcolors do). Strange.

So that was my haul! Along with Annemiek and Felicienne, which have not arrived yet. When they do, I will share my thought on them as well!

With tax and the bad conversion rate, this comes close to the US price.

Is it an online exclusive in the NL?

Yes it's only online. I think the US price is a lot better actually. Here it comes close to $120. If it would have been 75 euro's i would have to think about it, but this is just to much.

Wow, that is a lot! It's £48 in the UK which is more like $80. I don't know the exchange rate between the pound and the euro, but it's not that high.

Hehe. Temptations, temptations....

Yes, it's suprising to get something cheaper for a change. (I still won't buy it though, lol.) Also the Chanel Lucky Stripes powder is quite a bit cheaper here. Maybe they don't think they can squeeze more money out of us, lol.

I am leaning toward getting at least one lipstick, which will probably be Annamiek, the awesome brush, the mystery powder and a creamglass.  If you can only get one creamglass, which one would you pick as the best???

OK I now have the brush, but I am afraid to use it.  LOL!  I don't want to muck it up. I must be th_crazy.gif

It pretty much looks like the promo pic.

Inez has just arrived smiles.gif

I love the packaging, so pretty. Not 100% on the metallic finish but I do like it, just not what I normally go for.

The price of the brush has gone down to £45 from 48 on the UK site :D

the packaging isnt even metal... it has a very light weight plastic feel to it. deff won't be getting anything from this collection.

Even though I have hauled almost all of the MW2 collection, I am still lemming Kim l/g and the Sheer Mystery powder in Light. My HG setting powder at the moment is Maybelline Dream Matte Powder in light (it is a great matte very pale powder that does not oxidize). I would love to get a Mac one, but most of them oxidize on my skin. How is the finish of Sheer Mystery, and does it oxidize?

I don't think it oxidizes at all. It's too sheer to oxidize, but to be on the safe side, why don't you try it out in store.

I got Inez and Annemiek from this collection. It seriously took me 5 minutes to figure out how to open the darn things! LOL. I thought the cap was more in the middle of the tube so I was pulling and twisting and finally, the cap wiggled loose and opened toward the bottom. WHEW!

I haven't tried Inez yet but Annemiek is gorgeous! It's like a more opaque and creamier version of Plink. Love, love it! I would go back-up crazy for it if it were closer to the price of the other MAC lipsticks *sigh* but I'm toying with the idea of mayyybe getting another one....in a week or two, if it's still in stock.

Lol, I was the same with the lipstick too, couldn't work out how to open it! Especially because the cap seems to have been put together from two parts. I have to say the packaging doesn't seem that expensive and nicely done. I got Inez and Kim for the shades, not the packaging, but I'm still not impressed.
