Here're some swatches of High Society trio:

http://www.scrangie.com/2012/07/limited-edition-nars-trio-eyeshadow-in.html

I'll skip this and keep thinking whether I'll get the duo.

Speaking of the duo, if the right side has greenish color, I should pass this too.

Is anybody planning to buy the duo?

I really want the duo, grey shades look so subtle. Considering I will wear it with a deep red lipstick I need Vent Glacé. The trio is beautiful but a deep green means no for me.

Still thinking this is going to be an epic haul for me. Looking at:

Vent Glace

High Society (depending on how it swatches in person)

Outlaw

Autumn Leaves

Rouge Tribal

Here's another Vent Glace review:

http://thebeautyalchemist.blogspot.kr/2012/07/nars-vent-glace-eyeshadow-duo-fall-2012.html

I think I should pass this too because all of the reviewers said it has greenish tone(maybe the right side of the duo) in there which doesn't go with me.:(

and here's Undress me multiple (right below the duo):

http://thebeautyalchemist.blogspot.kr/

She said it looks like pinker version of Copacabana. If it is, I should pass.

You might want to check it in person (if you can), since neutral shades like this often shift their undertone depending on the exact shade of your skin. I've seen shades that look greenish/ brownish on some that look like cool greys on me. Not that I'm trying to enable...

@Katred: As you said, maybe I'll drop by a store when it's available. Thanks for the advice in anyway.:)

I just ordered Outlaw and two other items(not from the fall collection).

I'll pass Undress me because I know I don't use it often if I have, so I think it's waste of money.

Just got a call from one of my Nars counters to come to an "early sales" event for their "good customers" (that's what they call people who spend too much money there, I think). So I guess I'll get to meet the collection in person next Friday.

I can't wait!!!

Just for your information ladies, Nordstrom has Fall collection out. My daugther couldn't pass Outlaw. Blush is gorgeous! I tested eyeshadows and was underwhelmed. I really like darker shade in Vent Glace, I wish they would uese platinum color instead of silver for the lighter shade. Its just too cool. Trio is unigue and dark green and purple colors are very pigmented. According to the dispaly trio is limited. What came home with me? Lipstick Autumn leaves. It was love from the first sight. Dark red-rusty-brown color is so flaterring, it applies somewhet sheer and color is buildable which I love.

Outlaw and Autumn leaves are my picks from the collection too.  I have Mindgame, described as a sheer brandy, is Autumn Leaves similar?

@Monsy: When did you order?

i can't believe the fall collections are out! it's hard to think of fall when i'm sweating profusely just from typing... but, i have to admit i'm looking forward to the cool weather...fall is my favourite season hands down.

i'm loving the look of this collection now that swatches are out...there are a fair number of items on my wish-list, but i think i will have to drastically pare it down so that it's more manageable!

top of my list is autumn leaves. i can't decide if second is outlaw or the trio.  with outlaw i'm a bit concerned whether it'll show up nicely on my skintone...with the trio i'm worried about the lavender on my skintone. sometimes those icy colours just don't work for me...(hence vent glace not on my list).

oh wait, i like how that gloss looks too. not sure where to put it on my list.  i think i'm going to have to go in to one of the counters this week to swatch and decide!

katred, do you know which counters have the collection out already near us?

T has her first review up. So-so on Vent Glace:

http://www.temptalia.com/nars-vent-glace-eyeshadow-duo-review-photos-swatches

Aradhana- I don't think anyone has the collection out yet, although I wasn't in Holt's this week. I know that The Bay downtown is having a special "pre-launch" event on Thursday and Friday, so they may have swung a deal to get it a couple of days earlier than everybody else. If you go by the counter or call them, they'll set you up with an appointment, I'm certain.

Also, I noticed that the collection is live on the Canadian web site as well too... The relaunch of the web site last year REALLY sped up their collections up here. We used to be a good month behind the States, at least.

I'm seriously going to have to rein myself in next week, because nothing I see is silencing the "buy all the things" voice in my head.

thanks Kate. I'll try phoning the bay.... lol re the buy all the things. I feel a little that way, because I think it will be a struggle to just pick one or two things. but, as we've discussed in the past, it's rare for nars stuff to totally sell out without a hope, so at least there is time to space out the purchases! and hey, not even fall yet!
(hope that helped a little)

I too placed my order on the blush on Thursday and it shipped the next day. It is coming tomorrow and that was really fast!

EDIT://

I have tracked it and I don't know when it's coming now since the tracking of my order hasn't been updated since the 14th.

T's review on Outlaw--D+.  Ouch!  She says it's being added to the permanent line.

I can't usually agree with her opinion.

She also gave Marie-galante duo D-, but I really loved it after I got. I think it depends on makeup skills to feel which good/bad items are.

I think most of this collection is becoming permanent, other than the trio. I saw her review and swatches and Karen's as well. Although Karen (MUBB) loved Outlaw, I have to say that her swatch looked pretty sheer as well.

I really like my Marie-Galante, so I hold out some hope, but I think that the difference there is that MG was an odd sort of product- not like regular Nars shadows in many ways- whereas Outlaw is supposed to be like a normal Nars blush from what I can see. I'm really hoping that it looks lovely in person. I know that some people on this thread have ordered it already, so maybe they can offer their opinions.

I think Karen said she's putting it on with a fan brush? So she probably wanted it to look sheer.

Ah, I don't know... I wanted something that would look good on me when I wear purple toned lippies. The pink blushes I have made me look weird with it. I thought it was because it's too cool looking. And maybe, Outlaw is the one for me. Now I'm not so sure anymore.... Maybe I should just go with some beige highlighter instead? Any thoughts?

Thanks for the Scrangie link, Katred! I agree, the lips look gorgeous! I'm lemming Autumn Leaves now...

i don't think outlaw would work with purple lip. it is too warm

i am still waiting for my outlaw to arrive and i have no idea why it has not so far.. also they gave me tracking number that's not working

@Monsy: Did you choose Fedex smartpost when you placed an order?

I chose it (which was the only free shipping choice for my order) and the order status is still "In progress" almost for 4 days.
