I have been focused on getting only colours that I don't already have in my collection in order to slow my lipstick-buying habit, but this one really stands out. It's truly a rich rust colour, but the sheerness of it makes it work on a lot of different skin tones.

Thank you! It is bright, but it can be applied lightly or with a soft, fluffy brush and it would be fine for even very light complexions. According to my MUA, it is becoming part of the permanent line. I believe only the trio and the nail polish are limited.

Thank you, katred! bouquet.gif  It might have been a silly question as you had showed us how Outlaw would look on your beautiful skin. LOL I tend to stay away from darker blushes. I was hoping Outlaw would not be one of them. I'm so glad it is becoming part of the permanent line. I really want to try this blush. yes.gif

If anyone is interested I posted more swatches on my blog.

they always had an exfoliator it just didn't have the word in its name: hydrating freshening lotion

I've had a chance to try everything out and I remain really, really impressed. This is a great collection and the items are quality. Puts my expectations pretty high for other Fall launches...

If you'd like to read my thoughts, you can do so here: http://morelikespace.blogspot.ca/2012/07/making-faces-my-nars-romance-continues.html

I have lots of swatches, but if you're wondering about how any specific shades compare that I haven't covered, feel free to ask. If it's something I own, I'm more than happy to have a look/ snap a photo.

I love your review! The comparison swatches are really helpful as well! Thank you, katred! heart.gif

You made me feel like I want to wear Mighty Aphrodite tomorrow. greengrin.gif

Katred, do you have MAC Mocha blush? Any idea if the base color of Mocha is similar to Outlaw? TIA!

Thanks ladies for the swatches! It's very helpful for those  like me who don't have easy access to NARS to check out the collection in person. :)

If anyone's interested, thebeautylookbook has great comparative swatches of Luxor, Undress Me, and Copacabana Multiples.

I'm glad you enjoyed it! I do have Mocha and I swatched it against Outlaw, but I really didn't find them close at all. The base colour of Outlaw is more a reddish-pink shade, quite rosy, whereas Mocha is quite subdued and plummy (more mauve-tinged rather than red). And, of course, the golden shimmer of Outlaw has a huge effect on the final colour. That's why I felt it was easier to compare it to more coral-toned shades.

Is anybody planning to buy new eyeliner stylos?

I wasn't interested at first, but now I'm considering buying brown and gray ones.

i would like to try them, especially dark navy one.

katred - Beautiful as usual! Autumn Leaves is very pretty on you. You did a look with Torrid recently, is Outlaw more red while Torrid orange? Which do you like more?

Thanks very much! Yes, I would say that there is a lot more of a pink/ red tone to Outlaw, whereas Torrid is more orange/ apricot. Which one do I prefer? Oh dear... I hate playing favourites with my blushes... But if I had to choose, I'd probably say Outlaw. pinker shades tend to work better on my complexion, but the big difference is how gorgeous the golden sheen looks on my skin. It really adds a lovely radiance without making it look like you smeared shimmer powder all over your face.

I have the black eyeliner stylo - they're nice ... I only have the one and use shadow overtop to change the colour.  I still need to play more with precise eyeliner looks before I consider more.

I got Autumn Leaves. Now I need to find a liner. I am thinking NYX Pumpkin maybe. Thoughts?

anyone getting Storm bird?

Based on this swatch I actually like Luxor better but I don't think either that or Undress Me are a must have for me. I have Copacabana in Illuminator form and LOVE it. I mix it in my liquid foundation in fall/winter when I'm not tanned. In spring/summer I do the same with Super Orgasm Illuminator (as it's better with a tan)

If I go for one, I'd go for Luxor (gorgeous opal kind of shade), then Copacobana, then Undress Me. The glitter was just a little too chunky for my tastes. The base colour is pretty, though- I'd actually say on my complexion, it would be more of a blush than a highlighter.

Thank you, katred! I heard the comparison between the two, and I was not sure. You explained it perfectly. heart2.gif  The golden shimmer of Outlaw is to die for. th_drool.gif Hope I will get it soon! BTW, I wore Mighty Aphrodite today. greengrin.gif

if you like the undress me multiple but not the glitter, then i wonder if the penny lane cream blush is a close non-glitter match

I'm sure you'll love your Outlaw! It's funny about Mighty Aphrodite. It really didn't care for the Wonder Woman collection, except the cheek products- I still use both blushes and both MSFs all the time.

Thanks, now u've got me thinking again. My natural skintone (sans tan) is about NW22. Do you think it would work as a blush on me or would it still be a highlighter? I'd def skip it if it's a highlighter as I have similar shades.

Here's fall gifting collection in Aug:

(Click the photo to see large)

I found them when I googled and it mentioned it will come out in Aug. I'm not sure whether it's right.

Two eyeshadow palettes (Names are New Wave & American dream) and one travel-sized brush set will come out in Aug.

About palettes, they selected from current eyeshadows. They're not new ones.

I can see Daphne, Mangrove and so on.

Mini brush sets usually suck (e.g Bobbi Brown and MAC), so I'm wondering whether Nars' is good/bad.

I heard package is also changed. They're going to be glossy white ones.

I hope they would be good for dry skin too. I can't use NARS skincare line because they're too dry for me.:(

That's right! I forgot that my MUA told me this. It's out in Canada at the beginning of September! They've scaled back their prices quite a bit, I think. I imagine the formulas might be different, but the gel mask was $95 here. At $39, I'm grabbing it for sure!

Aquamarine we already have threads for both eyeshadow palettes and the brush set

And i think we should talk about skincare in the skincare thread. it will just be lost in this one...

I passed on Outlaw for now. I'm not so sure about a raspberry shimmer. I'd love it a lot more if it were matte. But the trio is fabulous, and so is the duo. The lippies...yahoo.gifFabulous! Autumn Leaves is HANDS DOWN my favorite.

thanks for the swatches of the multiples! undress me reminds me of a similar kind of product i had ages ago from l'oreal. i don't remember when i bought it, but i know i had it in 1999 and 2000...i wore it every day (my makeup collection was much smaller then!), and eventually tossed it cuz i got super bored of it...until a few onth ago i was wishing i still had something like it.... so i guess i will probably at some point check out undress me, though if it's joining the perm line i will hold off for a bit.

i like the looks of several of the products after seeing everybody's swatches, but i think if i get anything in the short term, it'll be high society!

Now I'm lemming Luxor! I got my first multiple, Orgasm, and I used it on my eyes and cheeks. It creased on my eyes with a base. I like it on my cheeks. I topped it with Chanel In Love JC because it looks close to Orgasm and I don't ownthe blush.

Thanks for this! Outlaw is gorgeous but I don't love gold in my blushes. I have Plum Foolery and I'll try to content myself with that.

I did buy Autumn Leaves - what a beautiful, unique colour. I love orange lippies but this is the first I've had that doesn't feel a bit bold for the office.
