NARS Fall 2012 - Page 8

I finally got Outlaw, but it's quite different than I expected after I got it.

I haven't tried yet, but it looks like Taos or gold shimmer version of Dolce vita (I already have both) in the pan, so that's why I don't feel it's a unique color.

I have gone through hell trying to get my hands on Outlaw in person (after I swatched it at Sephora and THEN noticed the display was empty). I finally gave up trying to get one from a store and have an online order pending, but if it gets canceled or arrives damaged I am going to be so sad!

you are welcome Audrey

I tried the mutiple, and it was too much of a glitterbomb.  I don't mind a little glitter, but this product had big chunks of glitter in it.  Definate pass for me.

I was going to get Vent Glace but ended up ordering Modern Love instead :o Still going to get Vent Glace though, just later on. I'm so glad it's perm.

Autumn Leaves lipstick is the only thing that caught my eye. I snatched it up quick. It only took one swatch in Sephora to know it was meant to be. So beautiful, appropriate for Fall and still I'd wear it right now. On par with all other nars lipsticks. It's pigmented, comfortable to wear and flattering to many skin tones. Love it.

Isn't it GORGEOUS? Definitely the standout of the collection.

Do you know if the new eyeliner stylos are different to the old ones? New applicator or something, or they are just new shades?

Thanks!

Yes I agree Autumn Leaves is pretty. I purchased the trio, the duo and the lipstick yesterday, I am very glad it's a gorgeous Fall look. Autumn leaves really looks like autumn leaves when they are orange/red. Normally I prefer red or pink shades but I'll be wearing the Nars lipstick maybe with Amour blush.

I love Autumn Leaves. I've been wearing it alot with NYX Pumpkin liner but want to try it with a more red liner soon. I bought the Multiple but haven't received it yet. Can't wait to try it.

Now that I've come here I want Autumn Leaves lipstick! As I wrote in the other thread about Bobbi Brown, I'm going to visit Nice in France and I have the occasion to buy some stuff not available in Italy such as Nars and Bobbi Brown... Autumn Leaves is on my list!!! I also like High Society but I'm not sure about it ..

I love cream blush, highlighters, multiples, shimmer and sheen but even I find undress me way to glittery. It's a pity cause the colour is stunning. Anybody know a similar colour without all the glitter. I swatched undress me beside Luxor and copacabana but undress me has much more pink imo

How does Penny Lane compare?

I've been using Outlaw for almost 10 years. I'm so glad they've brought it back AND made it permanent. It was my first NARS blush and I've never found anything I've liked more.

I finally got the duo and multiple and I love them, esp. the duo.

Whenever I wear the duo, people ask me what kind of eyeshadow I wear and they say it looks really natural and gorgeous!

I had the chance to check out Autumn Leaves in person and it will join Outlaw blush on my shopping list. I can't wait until I'm able to get them. I love how I can just take my time with NARS.

Yes the duo is very special. I was asked the same question : what are you wearing on the lids ? It's simply great. I think I'll get the gloss too next month, it's a permanent shade ( I hope ).

Yes, anyone who's seen me post in this forum knows I'm a HUGE fan of Nars duos in general, but this is really exceptional, even by those standards. It's brightening without being overly frosty and despite being neutral, I really don't have anything that looks like it (especially the sage/ pewter colour).

iagree.gif I get frustrated by the whole LE panic that happens, because I'd rather just be able to get what I want and know I can re-purchase later. I don't mind occasionally getting LE items that are really great, but I appreciate that some brands like Nars (and Chanel and Guerlain for the most part) make the bulk of their collections permanent.

It is. As far as I know, only the trio and the nail polish are limited.

You ladies make me want to go and buy this duo. :P

Those with the duo, do you wear it on its own or do you prefer to use it with a darker colour?

It works on its own for a more natural look, but I like using the green shade from the High Society trio to darken the outer corner/ crease. My eyes benefit from a little more definition.

I really wish NARS offered its eye shadows in pan form so that I could make custom palettes. That's the only reason why I haven't bought any. I don't want to have to deal with trying to store a ton of compacts.

I use the duo alone, with a black or brown mascara. It's more intense than it looks. Maybe I will try a combo with High Society or any other eyeshadow I have but used alone Vent Glacé is pretty.

I'd be surprised if they didn't move towards this at some point. Their selection is certainly large enough to justify it. I think the trick would be that all the shades that are in duos would need to get individual names...

Wearing one of my new favourite looks today: High Society trio on the eyes with Nico blush (combined with Edward Bess South of France) and Downtown lip gloss. It's a Narsapalooza.

Is the duo kind of frosty and cool-toned?

I really hope they do. NARS doesn't have any problems picking names, so that shouldn't be an issue for them.

in their palettes, when they have one side of the duo, the just call it for example Bellissima I or Bellissima II : the "I" being the left side of the duo, the "II" being the right.

I thought I had my Fall Nars list set but now I want Vent Glace.

My list

-Vent Glace

-Autumn Leaves lipstick

-Outlaw blush

-More Velvet Gloss lip pencil

-Storm Bird nail polish (maybe)

Does anyone know if Bloomies 59th in NYC carries Nars?  I went to check stock in store on the Bloomies site and it says unavailable.  I'm thinking they don't carry it.

Hi Icecaramellatte .... why don't you try the only NARS store in North America on Bleecker St. or is it that far from 59th?
