I am definitely getting liberté blush for sure.  Even if its permanent I will get it as soon as it comes to sephora.  I like the nail polish but I will not pay $18 dollars for a nailpolish.  The trio is pretty also but I know I would reach for it as much so I can skip that also.  

 

the liberté blush looks so gorgeous on Rihanna...

Thanks, that's great, I did not know that! Very handy that it will be so soon then, I have also been meaning to order Laguna bronzer now that the weather is getting warmer.

^^ Yeah gorgeous. Nars made her looked very tan here and the pic screams summer. I wonder how the trio will look on me since I'm only NC25 at my darkest.

Thanks for the swatches, Trouville is so soft ! Added to my wishlist with Ramatuelle, Marie-Galante and Vendanges ! I have Schiap too, it's bright and very pretty for summer, Nars polishes are really great.

Oh Astrid, I wish you hadn't posted this... I'm just starting with NARS and this collection seems lovely! I want the duo for sure, the blush and the Pure Matte Lipstick are maybes. I just wish it were easier to get NARS products here - I just ordered the Douceurs de Paris Palette, and shipping is 8€! I hope one day we'll have counters again.

Here is a video fo a make-up look using Marie Galante Duo Eyeshadow and Tropic Single Eyeshadow. It's nice to see how the colors look applied. :)

Great tutorial! Marie Galante is like a more dramatic Elsa. Anyone has Elsa? I do and I like it, it creates a soft, ethereal look because of the icy blue. The video also uses the gold RCS and I'm thinking I need it as well.

Me too! I was just lucky I had some friends coming from the UK or France so I could CP :P. I'm going to France next month though, that's why I'm hoping I could score some Summer collection. I think I need to swatch Ramatuelle before actually purchasing it. Let me know your thoughts on Douceurs de Paris... the colors look lovely. The shipping from narscosmetics.eu is ridiculous! I always try to order from hqhair if it's not something special edition, since it's cheaper (UK prices :P) and has free shipping.

Yeah, that's my thought too... I probably wouldn't get the duo because I currently rarely use vibrant dark colors, but that gold RCS!! Want! Also because the normal nude colors tend to either made me look sickly or overly tanned.

Thanks for the link! Vendanges looks mighty red on her... I don't like it so much that way, although I think it'll look very different on me. I like the color of Never Say Never too!

I think she made a mistake when she posted because Moscow is Strawberry red lipstick, not grape.:) Actually, the first swatch is Vendange and second one is Moscow!
By the way, just based on the swatch, the trio looks prettier than I expected!

I definitely want Never Say Never velvet matte lip pencil. I wasn't originally that interested in the eyeshadow trio, but it looks lovely and great for everyday.

Tell me about it! I wasn't interested in the trio too, but after I saw the swatch, it now made/makes me confused.:P

But I'm not a big fan of Nars matte eyeshadow, so I think I need to see other swatches because of the matte apricot shade.

The trio reminds me of an orange warm-based lighter frostier version of Douce France. :P I've thought about it, and I think I'll pass on Ramatuelle, or at least wait a bit. I just bought Douce France, which compliments my eye color and skin tone much better than Ramatuelle would.

 

Anyway, I thought this would be helpful, and it seems pretty accurate. :)

Aquamarine - why do you not like NARS matte eyeshadow? Chalky? I don't own any of them yet.

I am very pale, think NW07-10. For reference, I use NARS Siberia Sheer Glow or Everyday Minerals in Fair Neutral as foundations. I have hazel eyes with a bit of green in them, and the colors of Douce France nicely bring out the green.

 

I think NARS matte eyeshadows are a bit difficult to work with, more than their shimmery eyeshadows (which are a dream to use and blend!) It takes a few tries to really get the best of them. It's easier if you use them wet. That's what I do with Daphne Single Eyeshadow. :)

@ MarieMary: I thought the same thing when I saw the trio for the first time. I thought it looked like a warmer version of Douce France.lol

By the way, the apricot part is pretty orange based on the swatch. It doesn't look like apricot at all!! lol

 

@ Miss QQ: I already use many NARS eyeshadows because I have lots of them. It turns out sometimes their matte eyeshadows drive me crazy.:S

Some of the matte eyeshadows are awesome, e.g. Coconut grove or Bali.

 

But some of them are not good because they look chalky or are usually discolored as time goes on. (maybe 10 mins after wearing them.) 

For example, I have Violetta duo eyeshadow and the right side is really pretty and gorgeous, but the left side is horrible. Whenever I put the left side, I look like a corpse.:S It has to be muted-laverdar, but it turns to be chalky gray. Personally, I think being discolored is the worst problem! My friend and I had a same problem when I used D. gorgeous and Kuala Lumpur too!

Sometimes, Nars matte eyeshadow are hard to blend (as MarieMary said.;)), but I don't think it's a big problem if you have some makeip skills.:) 

 

I think the best NARS eyeshadow is the one which has velvet texture such as Nepal, Ashes to ashes, Cyprus or Habenera (duo) minty one. I really love them because they aren't chalky, easy to blend and discolored. Plus they're really pigmented and long-lasting.:)
