I really like this foundation! I don't use it for my everyday foundation but I use it for when I have am going on a night out. This is the only Mac foundation I am a big fan of. I like the...
I have the soft ocher paint pot and I have to say I'm not a big fan. For the price I paid for it I was expecting it to make my eye shadows really pop and keep them from creasing. It did keep them...
Overall, I think this is a great foundation for most people. It's definitely for normal-to-dry skin in my opinion. I have combo skin and my cheeks loved the hydration. However, my T-zone got...
I know it says eye makeup remover, but I use it all over my face to remove makeup.
I would suggest saturating a cotton pad and then placing it over your eye for a few seconds to let the...
I was at Neiman Marcus in the King of Prussia mall last week and I asked about the new JCs that are coming out. The SA knew nothing about any new JCs but mentioned that they would be getting an eye palette. I assumed she was talking about this one.
*squirms* This is nothing but colors I use on a daily basis, and if the texture of the shadows is anything close to the same as the Topkapi quad I'm getting this day 1. I don't even want to think of the price, but I'm turning 30 this year and if it's out before May I'll nag ask hubby if this can be a present. :3

lol..nag. I can't wait to see the swatches. I think that I am going to get it also..Day 1. I have a friend traveling to Paris soon and if it isn't in the US before he goes, I will ask him to pick it up for me. I loved the texture of Topkapi however, I think I prefer the colors of this palette.
The colours look very basic but beautiful and the texture looks soft and pigmented. I haven't seen it at my counters though, not sure if we are getting it.
^^ Thanks. The blush looks neutral and ashy, not sure how it will look on me but I think I need to use it with another pink blush to not look like death. Maybe it is pretty as a soft contour. Looks like it matches the nail polish. Those crystal stone brows looks beautiful as hair clips.
Ikram - thanks for the link. Right now I think I want the palette.

Yes, I think I would also use it as a soft contour and add some neutral pink blush on the top of the cheeks. I'm sure there's a way to make it work for different skintones, even though it may look a little scary on the models.
hmmmm....the swatches actually look a bit weak. Now I'm unsure I want the palette. I guess I'll wait till it's released here

Yeah, the blush looks almost too lavendar. It'll be hard to wear it on its own if it looks exactly like this picture. The nail polish is gorgeous though!
I like the look of the palette. I will need to search my stash though and see what dupes I have first.
Love the np. Will definately buy that when it comes out. I don't think that the JC would look good on me. I would definately have to try it first before buying - possibly as a contour?
This is probably my least favorite look Chanel has done - at least from those pics. It just looks ghastly. Maybe I'll change my mind later, but thats my first impression.
I saw Sabrina's review and my reaction was, why didn't I buy Noir-Ivore! I'll try asking if the duo is still available at the counters, but my hopes are not high. I think this palette is nice to have in the makeup pouch as we can do a few looks with it.
I have Noir-Ivore and don't reach for it that much. Although, the pigmentation in the duo is great, I reach for my Illusion D'ombres because they are more reflective.

Seeing Sabrina's review/swatches as well, I know for sure I'll skip this. Won't be worth the money for me. This opens up more funding for summer collection and some of the Illusion d'Ombres that have been on my list forever

I agree with you. The blush isn't flattering at all. It reminds me of Strada from Mac, which was a great contouring shade. The models in the pics look like they have dirt on their cheeks.
I also have Noir-Ivoire, and I also barely use it. Not really sure why.

I actually really like the taupe blush (Strada is one of my all-time favourite Mac blushes) and that nail polish is amazing. I also really love the lips. Looks like I might end up going broke this fall...
I saw this palette on Sunday. It was a little meh in person, although the texture and pigmentation are great. The 2nd and 3rd shades, the yellow and gold are very similar on my hands. I think I can pass on this, I would rather get Lucky Strips and it also costs $2 less, not that it is a lot!

I agree, I was underwhelmed. Hope your foot is better!
