that's what i was thinking when i put it on (CYY) i was like wow, this isn't so bad...but then i was still like EH, it's really not what i expected.

 

I guess i was ready for like SUPER NEON like glow stick Pink. lol

I have the original CYY, and have worn it maybe 10 times. I find it incredibly drying. So much so that my lips will take a couple of days to feel normal again. I prefer Pink Pigeon and Dear Diary over CYY any day. They're not exact dupes, but they're really close. 

 

I think I would actually prefer the new version of CYY, as it sounds like the formula is nicer. I'm not going to order it though! I have enough bright pinks to last me a lifetime :-) The colour does look a bit darker, but could that be because the finish is smoother? 

 

I may have to get my lips exfoliated, and super moisturized, and break out my CYY this weekend! 

I got Moxie. It looks different in every swatch, so I have no idea if it's going to look pink-red or pink on me. Moth Brown will definitely be my last purchase from this collection, and I will be good and only get one.

Forget what i said about Quick Sizzle and Moxie. they are cousins not sisters at all. Def looks like matte Impassioned

Boxes were delivered while I was working, so the husband put them inside the home. I will be hoarding them while I use up Dear Diary and whatever colors I have open.

I am hoping that my lipsticks have consistent color as their old incarnations did.

I guess that could be possible.

So the new one has a better formula but the old one has the prettier color. Hm, I think I'll pass and be happy with the one I have.

My Moxie will be here tomorrow. I hope it suits me. Impassioned is not too bad on me, but a few years back, I picked up Utter Fun (pinky red), and it looks like crap on me. It's too red of a pink, if that makes sense, and makes me looks like a clown. I can wear bright pinks, and a lot of red shades, and they're fine. 

 

I'm crossing my fingers that Moxie looks nothing like Utter Fun!

I'm thinking I might do the same.  I thought I wanted CoC until I saw the patchy swatches. Maybe, if FoF is still around when I get my shadow, I'll bite. 

I just ordered all 3 of the lipglosses.  I was just going to get Flash of Flesh but the others look so nice in one of the blogger pics.  I hope I like them.  I skipped the lipsticks.  Not for me.  But I'm glad others can get them.  I think I may get all 3 eyeshadows too.

Yes, it can. The emails from MAC always let you know on the bottom if the pro discount is available for whatever they're emailing you about. 

Sigh, I'm still so bummed that I missed out on Party Parrot and Pink Pigeon.

all the pictures I saw of Moxie before were pink... and then i get it yesterday and i'm like "whoa, thats pretty much red with a dash of pink"... on my skin anyway.

I really thought it would be more like pink pigeon or quick sizzle type of pink... not like bright red leaning towards being a bit pink.

Today is my . It was delivered at 10:35am and I can't wait to get off work so I can look at my new babies, Moxie and Rocker! If I fall in love, I may regret not getting backups but that leaves me with more dough to pick up my hold from MAC on Friday (HC stuff I didn't get or backup the first go around). 

The new one has less of that lavender-ish tone than the old one, I really dig it.

Moxie is gone again! 

 

Yep, if I had know before hand I probably would have skipped the new version. 

Yeah, I know I just literally tried it on, but I'm really NOT feeling the color. I rarely return cosmetics, but I think I may return it. It is completely RED on me, with the smallest smidgen of pink to keep it from being true red.

 

For anyone wavering, I swatched it with guerlain liu in the page before this, and it is just as red as that lipstick.

 

Candy Yum Yum is definitely darker than the original (I've tried my friends before) but I actually like the new color. It may not be as neon (which I'm disappointed with) but it IS more wearable, and pretty.

Moxie sold out again!! I had it in my cart & soon as I went to checkout it was gone
