launched from Quite Cute.

Hi everyone, I swatched my pink and purple lip liners for those interested or curious how they look side by side. I hope you find this useful. From left to right: Rimmel Exaggerate Full Colour Lip Liner in Pure, Make Up For Ever Aqua Lip Waterproof Lipliner Pencil in 16C, MAC Chromagraphic Pencil in Process Magenta and MAC Lip Pencil in Magenta.

 

I'm sure there are plenty of people here who would gladly take some of those bu's off of your hands lol. It couldn't hurt to try if that's what you want to do.

I'm looking forward to my lipsticks arriving tomorrow. From the sounds of it, I should have ordered 2 Moxies. I agree with the poster who mentioned MAC not showing Canadians some love, we want backups/ second chance for those who missed out!

I'm realllyyy hoping I don't love CYY enough to go hoarding hog wild with it lol. I'm hoping for a restock but I'll see how I like it then I'll just get 2 others, to play nice with the MAC quantity police. 

Random Question... How do you ladies (and gentlemen) store your BU's?  I have never backed up an item, but the quantity in my collection is getting a little out of hand!  LOL...

 

I have heard some people say they refrigerate theirs, Is this a good way to store them?  I freaked out today when I wanted to play with my lippies and saw quite a few sporting cosmetic sweat!! :'( Heat wave is no bueno for my poor lippies!

Do you think the eyeshadows will sell out quick like the lipsticks?

Yeah I moisturize and PnP. And it still gets wierd after a while. I even put on my jack black lip balm over it for touchups. It still puts this weird dry line where the color stops towards the inside of my lips. After I get my Rocker I'll own 5 mattes though lol I might have to wipe it off and do it all over again throughout the day. It's annoying to have to maintain, but I just love the way they look!

Does this count for glosses too? Or will they go bad still?

 

Maybe not... probably MB though due to the hype. Guacamole might sit there forever...  I might still get it hoping that it is different from the original, which I did not like too much.

 

I only keep three or four open at a time and only break in a new l/g when I finished an old one. All my BU's are stored in the fridge.

How do people in the NC15-20 range like Moxie? I'm a bit concerned because blue-based lippies do sometimes look strange on me.

Yeah I've made the mistake of having too many open! lol Thats why I'm pretty much not getting any glosses for a while. I have so many to go through.

 

What? No Ruffian in the UK? Guess this means no BUs. TG I had an extra sense to CP for them! (Can't belive they are doing this again! Are they low in stock or what?)

 

Best advice to finish them is to use one straight for one week to see "progress." You can do it!

I got Rocker today, tried it on and I'm barely getting time to post some pictures. I hope I'm doing the color justice! I had to do a few swipes to get an even application because I put it on while the tube was still sweating so it slipped.

That's what I used to have to do with Lush shower gels... I once had 8- 16oz Lush gels in my shower. It took FOREVER to use them up but it worked! I still do that and have max 2 in the shower (one for me, one for hubs). 

 

Now if only I could apply this to lip products.....

Which is crazy since the US site is still stocked. I'm actually surprised that Ruffian Gold isn't sold out! It's the best of the 3 IMO

Yeah, LE or dc'd. Rizzo was that l/s for me. Loved!!!! that pink. As far as I can tell, MAC has not come out with anything remotely close to it. I just mix Sandy B and Myth together and go on about my business.
