Lincoln Park After Dark was the only n/p I used for YEARRRRRRRS!!! I only started weaning myself off it last year. I don't have a lot of pinks, but the collection is slowly growing.

I got a MAC box today and i knew it was too early to be my Moth Brown. 

I opened it and it was a CYY and a Moxie.  Ummm ok. i'd like to assume maybe someone sent me one as a surprise but i doubt it.

So now what? does MAC really have more CYY and Moxie's laying around???

Most of my polishes are nude colors, blood reds, or purples.

 im with you i love bright pink lippies, but pink nails not so much maybe a dark fuschia but no pinkish or light pink . i usually wear red,turquoise blue, mint blue. kind of like essies turquoise and caicos and china glaze's for audrey and any red.

So I was all worried about my shadows not arriving, and not getting a shipping notice.  Well, when I was leaving for work this morning, I saw the box sitting next to the gas meters on my porch.  I didn't even notice it, it had been there since yesterday morning!  So I just threw it inside the house and didn't get to open it until I got home from work.  of course i got the shipping notice at work today, more than 24 hours after it was delivered.

Well, I'm personally very happy with both Jete and MB.  I didn't own the original MB.  I expected it to be quite similar to Satin Taupe, but they're not comparable at all.  MB is a charcoal with brown tones, but the texture and finish is the same as ST.  The colour itself might be similar to Shadowy Lady, but because of the different textures it looks nothing like it.

Jete is similar to UD Scratch (as I was hoping), but Scratch is very slightly more pink, and has a much softer texture and is much more pigmented.  I needed a few swipes of Jete to build up to the same intensity.  I will wear it tomorrow and see how it compares on the lids.

I tried taking some swatch pics, but they all turned out horrible.  I thought I was good with a camera, but apparently not.

Of course, it is a different story if the product is broken or messed up in another way.

I didn't like a blush I got once...I went into UPS to return it, and it cost $10 to return! I just kept it.

On me Moxie is a raspberry leaning red and judging by online swatches some people are getting a pinkish red and others are getting pink.  Kinda depends on how Moxie looks on you but off the top of my  head

Ok, while I think it's VERY noble of you to do that, they would have to toss them. I think either call them and offer to pay for them (or just call them and tell them what happened but that you are keeping them).. or perhaps sell to someone that didn't get them? It would be a shame for them to be destroyed...

Was it your info on the invoice? Maybe you got someone else's box by mistake if it's not your name!

Yes, Lincoln Park After Dark is perm! I've gone through bottles and bottles of it. And I read something about the James Bond collection yesterday. I AM SO READY FOR IT!

My Moxies just came in today, I ordered them on the day they restocked... If you didn't order it someone out there loves you enough to have given you a gift?

MTE! Wow, MAC...I hope that they just accidentally sent you a second order and that someone isn't missing theirs.

If you get to keep them and don't actually want them, maybe you can send them to Spanky?

Yep, my name and address is on the shipping invoice but the sold by is blank.

yeah i think they messed up royally!   but then what happens if i pay and then it was a gift from someone.

Maybe they can tell from the invoice number or something. ill call them. i feel awkward.

So on your invoice both Sold To and Ship To have your name next to it?

Is there a dollar amount on your invoice? If it has no dollar amount, someone else paid for it.

Also, if you ordered online, go to your order status and see if the order number matches the one on your order for the eyeshadow.
