I missed out on PP so I am definitely getting Moxie. I really like my DD so am debating while I have time lol. I am worried Rocker would be too dark but it would be unique and perfect for fall. Decisions, decisions.

There's subtle differences. I have them both and DD has more fuschia. Cyy is straight up neon pink. The finish it's different. DD has a shiner sheen. I love them both.

 

I sadly missed out on PP too, but after reading this i'm getting more and more excited about getting Moxie!

Thank you for your experiences with both. So, I take it that CYY is worth getting if I have DD? I kinda wanna get it but don't want it to be too close if you understand. I have read and seen pics of it and it does look wonderful. I do think it would be easier to wear in the day time than Rocker. Oh, why didn't I budget for all 3 lol.

Can anyone help me? I hated the way Girl About Town looked on me & I didn't like Impassioned. I just bought & love Estee Lauder's (fall collection) Violet Crush (think that is the name) crazy bold pinks are usually not my cup of tea, but I just fell in love with the EL LS. I'm not quite sure what made me fall for Violet Crush, perhaps it is so out of my realm of my red addiction? I've bought a few lippies that are waaay out of my normal range, so maybe I'd feel differently about GAT or Impassioned now...

Therefore, can anyone tell me whether or not Moxie is something I'd like or not? Is Moxie more wearable than CYY??? Does Moxie compare to GAT? I missed PP, so don't know what that looks like.

This is OT, but...I think Singer82 mentioned falling for Estee Lauder & I'm right there with her! I saw Allura's post of the promo pictures in late May & I've been dying to see it in person. I accidentally (seriously) passed by the EL counter when I went to Nordie's Anniv Sale & there it was in all it's glory! If anyone missed out on Extra Dimension, you'll really love the EL fall palette. I didn't get it because I have similar colors, but it is beautiful. Sadly, the Cyberb Eyes singles didn't swatch all that well for me. I was disappointed, but I may not have given them the attention they needed...as I mentioned earlier I got both fall lippies (love) & now I've been looking at swatches online for EL lippies & such. I have a new budding love with NARS, as well. Bought the blush palette & have used Orgasm quite a few times....love it. I like to layer it with some other blushes & HLs, I don't think it's over hyped at all. If something is beautiful, than how does it make it overhyped? Anyhow, I just wish NARS was more consistent! A few things I've bought from them have not been as good as they should. Anyone agree???

Shoot, now I'm second guessing my definitely MB purchase because of the mention of grey & my negative experience with Earthly. Can anyone give me some guidance on whether I would like this or not?

Spanky, I compared Moth Brown to several brown e/s I have somewhere in this thread.

I'm really excited for MB! I voted for it from the get go, so I'm glad it was chosen  However, I also loved Earthly, so YMMV.

And a side note...that is Earthly Riches MES(an older MES) not the Earthly from HC.

 

 But I CAN swatch Earthly and MB if needed, but they are not alike, I promise.

These threads end up getting SO LONG (which is good!), so I usually bookmark helpful swatches. Thanks for taking the time to swatch them all!

Yeah, if Spanky needs Earthly and MB swatched together I don't mind.  I just didn't want her thinking that one was the HC Earthly.

 

 

 

I have a HARDCORE feeling about this. It's a "regular non-pro peeps" who voted for the most part...so it would be unfair if Pros get most of the stock and evilbuyers and stuff

Huh?  How do you do that?  I've wanted to bookmark pictures and posts so many times before!

I know the release date for this collection is August 6th but I've already started my site stalking. It's not like MAC has never released a collection early....like on a Sunday evening when I just happen to be online, credit card in hand :)

Believe me I'm stalking! I cant wait til it drops! been waiting for this all year! Somehow Im scared that I wont get it in time :(

if you are using google chrome, you click the star on the url bar while on the page you want to save. if you are using firefox, you can right click and click on bookmarks on the menu that pops up

 

Just wanted to add that if you want to bookmark a specific post, click on the post # (found on the upper right hand corner of the box) before bookmarking. I use Google Chrome and when I click on my saved bookmark, it will direct me right to the specific post. HTH

I also wanted to add that you can use Ctrl + D to save to favorites with any browser. Then you save it where you want it. I use the hot keys as it's faster lol.

I've started stalking the site also. I just have this uneasy feeling it's going to go up before I know it and then everything will be sold out asap. I'm still sticking with my original four: Moxie, Rocker, CoC and Jete. Part of me wants more and then there's a part of me that is considering skipping. I don't see that happening (the skipping part). I do hope if this goes well for MAC they will consider bringing back more of the older shades that I never got to try.

Something tells me this won't be out until aug 6th because its online only... They don't really benefit from having it release early, I guess. I dunno. If I get the item(s) that I want, great, but if not, ignorance is bliss

Do you guys think I need moxie since I already have impassioned?

The finishes are different, so it just depends if you want Moxie for the matte finish. I'm on the fence with that one as well. I own Party Parrot and Impassioned, so I think I'm pretty well covered with that shade family. I want to pass on it, but we'll see how strong my lemms are once it hits the site!

I really hope this comes to the UK before September!!!

I normally don't mind when PRO members get access to collections early, but I really hope that it's the same release day for everyone this time around. Since all MAC customers "voted" for these shades, I can only imagine how much everything will cost on ebay due to the demand (especially since the collection is being released online only). 

Oh yeah your good if you have both. I wanted Party parrot too, I wonder if that's like moxie too? I might end up getting it anyway idk.
