See, now you're tempting me! getyou.gif I have to take a trip to the mall tomorrow and I know Saks has the New Wave palette. I had just convinced myself I didn't need it. It has one shade in there that I already own from the rated r duo, but that's OK. Well, guess I'll be buying that tomorrow!

No worries, there are lots of similar colors out there that will do the same thing and show up better. I am really missing out on a NARS blush/eye palette period. i want one but haven't found the perfect one yet. NARS' palettes are so sleek, modern, and perfect for travel. I am thinking about the foreplay palette. It looks interesting.
The foreplay palette looks nice. I have 2 of those shades, I think or something very similar by Nars, so I skipped it.

Now that I think of it, I might be better of getting that neutral Nars palette b/c the New Wave palette has a black and a purple and so does the Debbie Harry palette. hmm.gif

Thank you for the awesome photos, makes me want it even more!
I say def. go for the New Wave palette! I love it so much and bought even though I'm in the same boat as with having the Rated R duo already.

I talked with a couple of SAs at the counter and they honestly said they didn't want to recommend Self portrait palettes if I use them bacause the overspraying will disappear quickly

even if I use small brushes. They recommended them for cosmetic collectors.

I think I'll pass the whole collection.

Eyeshadow palettes from this collection seem a bit pointless if you can't use them..I'm skipping this collection too..

I am so tempted by the Flowers palettes, esp. #1 but I think I would never use it because it looks like a work of art and I couldn't bring myself to damage the pretty...

I broke down yesterday and bought the Walk on the Wild Side set (that silver illuminator is amazing), Satellite of Dreams blush and 47th Street eyeliner. Not what I expected to get but after playing with them I fell in love.

I picked up the 47th Street eyeliner and Back Room nail polish last week at Sephora.  I don't know why I bought the polish, it's just plain black, right?  I thought I read somewhere that it had some kind of new finish or something.  I can't find any mention of it anywhere.  I haven't tried it and may return it.  I don't really need a plain black polish.  I think I'm done with this collection although I did kind of like the highlighter, I think I'm going to skip it.  I really only wanted the eyeliner anyway.

I'll pick up 2 nail polishes : the purple and the teal. I think the nail polishes are really in the Andy Warhol spirit, I am disappointed by the collection on the whole, I am a huge fan of François Nars but not this time.

I saw this collection yesterday finally! I picked up the black and purple nail polishes and already wearing the black which is To Die For!!! I use black polishes a lot and this is my new HG black. It's opaque and shiny in one coat and the formula was amazing! Can't wait to try the purple.

I'm a long time Nars fan and collector but my experience with their nail polishes was limited to Jungle Red polish. I know I will be getting more now though :D

So I ordered the Debbie Harry Palette the second it went live on the Sephora website. I swatched it in person a few days later, got the palette and then returned it. I am still so in love with it and the shadows are really not up to par. I'm a glitter fanatic so that wasn't a big issue for me. I found out though that if you use the shadows with the NARS primer the colors actually come out a lot nicer. It's still a tad pricey but I think I'm going to reorder it during the Friends and Family sale in two weeks if the discount is at least 20%. For $42 I don't mind it that much esp. since I actually do love the blush. Such tossed up reviews for this palette, haha

I saw this collection in person and the NARS Larger Than Life Lipgloss Corfet Set and the silver lipgloss looked so gorgeous! Even though I have my eyes on getting Satellite of Love Highlighter Blush since I almost purchased it while I was at Sephora but thinking of getting it online instead.

Currently have my sights focused on the polishes. I really thought I'd want more, but I'm not enough of a collector to pick up the palettes just for the sake of having them. I want to actually use the product. Ironically, the more I look at the polishes, the more I want ALL THE POLISHES. I have to get over that.

I do still hold out hope for the Beautiful Darling gift set.

I swatched the polishes and Satellite of Love today. Eh on Satellite of Love. It was like ash with flecks of glitter on me. I really like the polishes. I want to get the teal, purple and black shades. The orange is nice, but I have something similar. I may end up getting it anyway. I didn't like the yellow one, though. It was very streaky compared to how smoothly the other colors applied. I think the polishes will be the only things I get from this collection.

I was interested in the Walk on the Wild Side set but after swatching the Silver Factory illuminator I felt it wasn't for me. Too glittery and bright for my taste. I'm passing on the entire collection, which kind of breaks my heart because I wanted to love it all.

Thanks for your opinion. I was interested in this set as well (the nail polish is gorgeous), but if the Illuminator is too glittery, that would be a pass.

Me too. I want to see how the duo performs. It looks lovely.

I think I'll get a few of ail polishes, and maybe a flower palette. I'll keep my money for the Joie de Vivre palette and/or the travel brush set, and possibly the satin lip pencils in january.

I have the one gloss in Penny Arcade (?).

Nothing in this collection really moved me.

Nothing moved me either except the nail polishes, well let's wait a bit and think it over before purchasing from this disappointing collection.

i ended up getting the palette and i really like it. the shadows are good with a base. which i always use, so no complaints from me. i also love the box and the mini booklet.

So you like the black polish huh?  Maybe I should try the one I bought.  I'm debating getting the purple one.

The black polish is totally awesome. It's so opaque and shiny all on it's own. I'm not even a black polish fan, but I'm glad I bought this one.

Gotta say I am not really impressed with this collection :/

I am a black polish fan and I'm always on the lookout for a perfect one. I think I may end up sticking with the polishes on this one, so I might as well give this one a try from the sounds of it.

The part that's out now is only at Sephora, but I think at the beginning of November, it'll also be at other locations (although the Debbie Harry kit is restricted to Sephora and possibly some of the other kits as well)

For the European NARS fans out there: the Warhol collection is available on NARS websites. ;) No news on the Sephora-exclusive collection availability in Europe yet.

My Edie set arrived today. I love the products and the packaging!

I am a huge Edie fan so have been so excited for this!

Thank you for posting photos! I'm officially sold on the set. Big fan of Edie and loving everything 60s for fall!

I went to Sephora, they told me around november the 2nd or the 3rd for the Sephora collection. Well, I don't know what to pick up yet, probably NY Dolls and Superstar on Nars Website.  It's a strange collection, I am not very impressed because François Nars could have done much, much better.
