Sadly, I think we need to wait several months. :(
NARS usually releases press statements and promotional pictures for a new collection a couple of weeks or so before the actual launch of the collection. Since the NARS x Warhol collection is scheduled for October in the US (November in th rest of the world), I don't think we'll get official information before September.
Unless NARS changes habits regarding this special collection. I hope they do.
I've read that some media had a sneak peek at the collection. But they probably have to be absolutely silent about it.

This is an overview of what NARS already did but the photo is pretty I think. If colours are more vivid than Outremer, Daphne or Schiap it will be something ! Yes we still have to wait a bit !
I only got Outlaw from the fall collection and now I can't wait to see Andy Warhol!!!
I'm afraid NARS will release more items than their usual collections like MAC, but I hope they won't because of my budget problem.lol
and I'm really curious whether it will replace with the holiday collection because holiday collections and gift sets usually comes out in the middle of October and in the beginning of November at narscosmetics.com.

Thank you Monsy! I was able to google the link. I saw all the previous bright beautiful products Nars has come out with. Fingers crossed Andy's collection will be just as amazing if not more so.![]()
I don't have photos from the Nars/Warhol collection so sorry if the link would not open. Hopefully we'll soon have a previeuw or photos, but if it launches in October well we'll have to wait. The Fall collection is online here ( soon available I think ) but price for the trio is 47 €, it used to be 42 € ! ![]()
I hadn't noticed! I think it's a mistake, because the previous ones are still 42€. I *hope* it's a mistake. I guess it's worth contacting the customer service and ask them about that, because it sucks! :(
I've got some information about Andy Warhol!
I went to a NARS counter and then asked one of the managers about it.
It's different from regular NARS collections.
She said there're around five sets in Andy Warhol collection. You know, it's like gift sets.
Three of them have eyeshadow, lipstick and nail sth like that and two of them are palettes including eyeshadows, lipsticks and so on.
and she said after this collection is released, a holiday collection (you know, regular holiday collection) will come out, but it has fewer items than regular collections. It's going to be a small collection. It's their current plan for the holiday collection, but she said the plan can be changed.
Hmm, honestly, I don't like it will come out as sets because there're some items which I don't like/can't wear (which means waste of my money) in each set as always, based on my experience.:(

Thanks for the info! I agree about the sets :/
I'll probably go for a lipstick palette or an eyeshadow palette and skip the other sets! I think a NARS lipstick palette would be wonderful

Thanks for the info! I agree about sets- there's almost never one where I want everything. I also despise lip palettes, so nothing including any lip product in palette form is on the table for me. Cool idea that they're doing it, but I'm not super-excited. We'll see if that changes once I see the products.

Tell me about it! I hope her info would be wrong.lol
I just want to get items I want, not any kind of sets!! :(
At first, the manager really hesitated to tell me about it and said "No, I can't tell you anything about it!!" lol
She said it's a top secret and they made a lot of efforts/really have high expectations on this collection, so NARS marketing team doesn't want to expose any kind of info about it until October.lol
Anyway, she didn't tell me how many sets will come out exactly, but she said it's around five.
She said the cases of the palattes are bulkier and bigger than NARS usual cases (maybe over-packaging?) and there're some Andy Warhol's patterns or sth on the eyeshadows etc.
Oh and the nail polishes on the first page, she said they're the items in Set1 and 2 when I told her about them.
She hesitated, told me roughly about it and then said "Just wait and see until October..." lol
and she gave me some info about Holiday/Christmas gift sets and they're really awesome, but she doesn't think another lip set will come out because she hasn't heard anything about it. and she thinks some brush set will be included in the gift sets.

Thank you for the info Aquamarine1543! I'm not that thrilled with the idea of sets. I had hoped it would just be a bunch of lipsticks, shadows, blushes, etc that I would be able to pick & choose what I wanted. With sets you're kind of stuck with whatever comes with it whether you want it or not. I will wait until I see the colors first before I make any decisions.

Thank you for the information, Aquamarine1543! :)
I'm actually glad there will be a holiday collection, a Warhol collection and a gift set collection. More to choose from! :P
But yes, there is always a couple of shades I'm not too interested in in each gift set/palette, but I imagine they'll get more sales this way than with individual items. I'm hopeful that since every shade is new, Orgasm won't pop up in the Warhol collection. *fingers crossed*

As long as it has limited version and bulky packaging, I think it's possible the collection will be more expensive than usual ones even though it comes out as sets.:(
I hope not, frankly. I guess I could get behind a (reasonable) bulge in price if this collection, whether in color, texture or packaging is diverting even slightly from the traditional NARS items. It seems to be what has been advertised when NARS announced its collaboration with the Andy Warhol Foundation: "innovative packaging, formulas, and shades". So I expect just that. Without a price increase would be nice, but I'm not holding my breath.

^^^ I sooooo hope he is right.
I like buying just the items I want. And like the others I rarely like every product in a set. I'm not all that much into the bags or whatever the set comes in. The ones I've had from MAC sets Igive to my neices. And the bags or rwhatever the sets are packaged in of course jacks the price.
I hope he's right too, and actually it makes more sense.
The nail polishes that were sold on eBay were packaged in a glossy silver box, instead of the traditional matte black. If they were part of a set, they wouldn't need to be individually packaged like that. Nail polishes or eyeshadows, or lipsticks, etc in sets don't have individual packaging.
Mmmm I found a picture of a set (or whatever it is). I'm not sure I can put it here, so I'll just put the link to it. Enjoy! :D
The set is called Beautiful Darling and features the NARS logo and Andy Warhol name in silver, with an image of Candy Darling in the background.

Am I the only person who doesn't feel tempted by background pic lol
